We bought this for the second time because my husband left his phone on top of the trunk of the car with his $400 glasses on top of it. Drove away forgetting that he left them there. We went back and found the smashed $400 glasses, but couldn't find the phone. I received a phone call a few hours later from the young man who found it, saw my name listed as the top caller, he called me and brought the phone to us. (We blessed him with a gift card.) The phone was completely protected by this cover after falling off the trunk on a busy highway and bouncing to the side of the road. It had stayed on the car for about 4 miles. What else can I say? Perfect phone protection!

I have the Galaxy J7 Perks from Boost. Fits perfectly on there. All cutouts for camera, light, and speaker are well done. The button covers are just right. The blue looks great, I definitely did not get the gray like some other reviewers, may have been a mixup. Looks sleek, phone doesn't feel much larger or heavier. It is slick however with no grip, but I went into it knowing that. Has a rubber sleeve that fits into the hard outer shell.As for protection, I haven't really gotten to test it just yet. If the wear and tear gets bad I will revisit this review. But at the beginning this looks like a nice case for the cost.Update July 12th:The case still looks good, and so far it has protected the phone, but it scratches very easily. An it's white underneath the color of the case, I now have 4 white corners on my case. Still works as a case thoughJuly 19th 2019 - its been a year since my last update, literally nothing else has changed on the case. Have dropped phone a couple times and no cracks or anything. Still have the white corners, but they haven't spread to the other parts of the case. Ill bump this up to 5 stars now. It's lasted a good while

So glad this was on my phone!!!! (This is a true story) As I went into a friend's home, I accidentally dropped my phone just outside my car, without noticing it. When I came back out to my car... my phone was face down on the pavement and had been run over by a car! YIKES! The protective glass on the front of my phone was cracked slightly and scratched and there were dirty tire marks on the back of this shockproof case. After going home and cleaning up the phone... it powered back up and was just fine! I couldn't believe it. This case saved me hundreds of dollars! I'm so glad I purchased it.

Updated: The case material is black outside, but a very small scratch yields white marks - it's color doesn't go all the way through, it's just at the surface. A sharpie can color up the scratches, but this is an unexpected drawback.This case fits the phone properly. The outer hard shell portion is sturdy, while the 'lip' protective area around the edge of the screen is just a tad more 'cushion' like. A good proven approach, have used similar on other phones, this looks like a quality product to protect the phone well.

When my phone was new, I bought a very expensive case at the provider's shop. Within two days, the finish was scratched. Within two weeks, the base plastic was showing at the corners. I thought, "At least it's protecting my phone." Wrong Had to order a replacement So I didn't have high expectations when I found this case online for under $10-- but the phone's old now, & cases are difficult to find in stores, so I gave it a try. Wow. It fits perfectly, looks great, survived & protected my phone from two falls so far. When I switch to a new phone, I'll get the case here.

This case is slim fitting but protective. I love the fit and color(blue/grey). The price can't be beat as compared to the phone store. It was delivered in two days as promised and it took just a minute to snap it onto my phone. I couldn't be happier with it.

I am on my third one in about 3 years. The first one just had the color start wearing off on the edges after at least a year or so. The second one cracked in the outer shell after an odd drop. The third is still going fine. My phone had been protected through quite a few normal falls. I like the colors, price and smooth texture. (I dont like prints or nasty, heavy rubber covers.)

I love the metallic red color. All the openings line up perfectly with the phone. The on/off button as well as the volume button are very easy to operate with this case. Feels very nice to the touch. Not slippery when holding, yet will slide in and out of a pocket with no problem. Would buy again.
