Confusing lines
The lines actually make it harder to figure out the correct spacing for writing the characters. The sequence is:-a broken line (possibly to mark the limit for things that might get attached to the top of letters)-another broken line- (looks like this is for placing the bar that across the top of Hindi letters)-a solid line- a broken line-solid-broken-solid-broken Oddly(at least to my Western eyes), the spacing between the lines is not uniform. The primary work area seems to be between the second line and the sixth Those lines are broken. This primary work area appears to be divided between top 1/3 and bottom 2/3.Too much about lines? My point is their function I unclear. It would help to have an explanation. And some guidance for writing the letters on standard western-ruled paper. It would also help to have a suggested sequence of strokes for forming the letters correctly and efficiently.

Giving This Book 1 Star for Stupidity🤪
2018 May 25 Friday Honolulu 14:38 (GMT-10:00)Still searching for an intelligently designed a book of this nature:2019 July 14 Sunday Honolulu 10:18 (GMT-10:00)Inconceivable that a book purporting to teach a writing system would contain neither stroke sequencing or stroke direction. If you are beginning the study of the Devanagari script, don’t waste your money on this poorly thought out offering👎🏻As a Beginning Hindi Writing Book for an individual attempting to learn on their own, it is an abject failure, and a laughingstock. No guidance is provided for the stroke sequence or stroke direction. An intelligently designed book would have had numbered dotted line arrows, or some other clear indicator, of how you actually START and CONTINUE each letter.Duh‼️

Better if it had English with it
I'm trying to learn Hindi right now and thought this workbook would be great for that. I like how the letters, words, matras and sentences can be traced for better practice, but.......it would be better if there was corresponding English to go with it. It does list the Hindi alphabet at the beginning of the book, but does not say the English equivalent letters. I have some Hindi/English flashcards which I just use to help me with the workbook to know what the Hindi letters are. And even though this book is for children, it's still good for adults who are trying to learn Hindi.

Good activity book
Good activity book. I just wish that it also had Romanized words in it to explain as well. I had to buy a separate book to learn Hindi letters first before I could get into this book in depth.

pour apprendre l'écriture du sanscrit
Un peu l'impression de revenir en endance, mais c'est efficace pour apprendre l'écriture si particulière et si jolie du Hindi.
