Got this fan as we’ve had the ice cooling fans that don’t cut it in high summer, this is super powerful even on the low setting it’s lovely, it’s super cooling instantly.The only downside is it is quite noisy but to be honest it’s fine. I’m quite sensitive to noise and my iced fan used to wake me up but this is louder but it’s a lower tone so I sleep better with this on - worth the money absolutely

Edit:I’ve now had the fan a year, I’m still using it and very rarely have to use the 2nd or 3rd speed setting! Still going strongI’ve had the fan for a month or two now. Yes it’s a bit noisy, but it does have some oomph to it! I can sleep through the noise quite easily, whereas others I can imagine it would annoy the crap out of the them.During the last heatwave where we had record breaking temperatures the fan was only on the 1st speed setting and that’s quite comfortable.I like that you can tilt the fan easily, it’s not heavy to move around, seems sturdy on the base, just wish for a slightly longer power lead.

On the few hot days we had this summer this was great and kept me cool but this was used it in a loud environment at work. I tried it out at home but is not the quietest if you were to watching TV etc.

Perfect for the bedroom with your partner in summer 😜🤭. Well worth 60 quid!!! Blew everything over when I tested it and put it on full. Highly recommend this over those tall plastic fans!!! Schallen know how to make quality fans! BUY THIS!

Powerful fan, but crikey is it noisy. Absolutely does the job though.

Very cooling

I've always wanted one of these because they look like aeroplane engines.I've never really had an excuse, or other (tower) fans have always been more suitable. However, my son needed something for our newly climate-changed summers, so I got him one.It really looks the part. Solid build, the chrome is good quality, the speeds are frighteningly powerful (don't believe you'll sleep through this baby unless you're really, really drunk) and the tilt is good for any size room.Get 3 and create your own wind tunnel.

The media could not be loaded. Bought this fan at the end of january after our last one packed up after 4 years of continual use 24 hours a day for 4 years - this was a different fan from another seller and I wish we'd bought the same original fan. This "new" fan, after only a few uses stopped working. We had it on overnight for the dogs and woke up the next morning to find the blades only slightly trying to go round and the smell of the motor! To make the blades go round we had to poke a stick through the grill to push the blades round to get it started again which eventually it would do! It also started a screeching sound. We contacted the seller who said we could send it back and they would send it back to the manufacturer and it could take weeks and they said WE would have to pay return postage which was about £10 which is about a quarter of the cost of the actual fan! Also why should we have to pay return postage for an item that is faulty and potentially a fire hazard!!!! We said we couldn't be without a fan for weeks because of the dogs and would have to purchase another fan which defeats the object! Eventually after several emails and not getting anywhere with the seller about their faulty dangerous fan, we spoke to amazon directly and explained what had happened and they have been beyond helpful and have sorted it out for us which the seller should've done but didn't!
