I really like the size of this salad spinner. The bowl has grippers on the bottom and it is pretty with all of the washed lettuce in it. The downside is the top piece. It is bulky and its because of the stop feature., that function makes it hard to handle. The top consists of two pieces and that makes it hard to clean. Looking back on my deciding to buy this spinner, I recall someone else having suggested that the top piece was an issue. I bought the bowl because of the size , so overall I am glad that I bought it. If I had a choice next time though, I'd forego the stop feature. Like my daughter said, "What, is the spinner really going like torpedo fast that you have to have a stop button on it?" (Just thought I'd add a little humor for some fun)

Nice size - love the ratcheting spin mechanism, light weight. Immersed the ratcheting lid while hand washing and realized that although the parts within the lid are plastic there was no way for the interior of the gears to dry between uses and so therefore it might drip dirty/soapy water onto lettuce or other vegetables during next use. Carefully took lid apart and washed and dried all parts before putting back together. Will not immerse lid again as it's a somewhat involved process to take it apart. Just wish the box or insert warned not to immerse - only stated it should be hand-washed and I didn't think it through.

I like the design on this spinner and the fact that it is clear. My older one is not and I can never see when the salad starts going brown. With this one I can. It can accommodate a head of lettuce easily. My wrist isn’t the strongest anymore but I found this spinner to turn with ease. The stop button works well. I’m pleased with this spinner. The only thing negative and it’s probably the user ME, I can’t figure out which part is collapsible.

I make salads every single day. I love that the base is WIDE. It also has a rubber ring on the bottom to keep it from sliding all over the counter. It is far more sturdy than other spinners I have. I throw my greens in, fill it with water to soak and clean, dump out the water, and spin!! Sometimes I just store the lettuce, parsley, etc in the container in the fridge after It's spun and use it from there.

Full sized salad spinner has capacity for 2 full heads of romaine lettuce. The spinning action is extremely smooth, and the button to stop the spinning does exactly that. Stops it very quickly. My two younger children were able to easily use the spinner independently. My only reason for giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is the description says the handle collapses, and it does not.

It’s decent quality, not terribly ugly and a good price, so 3 stars. That said, I think it’s cumbersome to store, difficult to spin and not great at drying. My main complaint is that there is separation between the plastic bottom half of the top and the upper white part which allows water in but not enough air to dry it. That’s kind of gross and creates mold first off but secondly makes it even actually appear foggy and not well cleaned. Not happy with the purchase.

This spinner is durable and of good quality material. The reason it got 2 stars is this: it doesn't dry well, still water on the lettuce. It does not move at all while spinning, which is a plus, but it doesn't spin fast enough so you end up turning the lever for a long time. I actually thought the lever was to press/pump and that's what made me go for it. It needs to spin faster to dry quicker.

This thing is fun! We try to buy our lettuces at local farmers’ markets, so most often the lettuce needs cleaned. I pull off the amount I want to use, rinse thoroughly, and then place it in the spinner. The handle is super easy to use (large and ergonomic). It spins fast without feeling like it’s going to fall apart - very sturdy! Worth the money!
