I have naturally black hair and got highlights that were in the light brown-brond range. When fading, some areas started looking more yellow and some had an orange brassy tone. I’ve used it twice so far and have noticed a difference. While it didn’t completely remove all the brassiness, I definitely noticed a reduction in the orange brassiness, and a cooler tone. I mixed in 9 drops with Olaplex 3, left it in my hair for about 1 hour, then washed it out. I might try the purple drops for the yellow tones. I do love how you can use this with any hair product!

I’m actually a white blonde who is naturally a dark gold blonde. My hair loves to try and turn gold. I have the purple drops of this and they didn’t seem to be getting rid of the gold so I’ve been mixing them with these blue ones with an overnight serum and they keep my bleached white hair nice and toned

After starting to notice my old blonde highlights starting to peek through my caramel and deep brown coloring i gave this a try. I use it once a week with my deep conditioning mask. 10 drops and after 3 weeks my blonde is back into hiding. I got my color done 5 weeks ago and people are still commenting asking if i just got my color redone. Love this product!

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the product! Gets rid of the reddish tinges. Only detractor is pushing on the top of the bottle to get the drops, it’s kind of hard to push. Other than that, it definitely works!

I really wanted for this product to work. I am growing out my grey hair after years of coloring it, and now am battling the dreaded brown-orange hair. I have tried several brands of blue and purple shampoo and conditioner, without much luck. I tried adding various and copious amounts of this product in my regular shampoo conditioner, and it did nothing (regardless of how long I left the conditioner on wet or dry hair). I added many blue drops (over 20) to a cream based styling product, and saw some results. However, after my hair had been completely dry for over 30 minutes, the blue came off in my hands when I touched my hair, and was still coming there were some blue stains on my clothes. This product might work better for someone who adds it to a styling product who doesn't need much toning, but it did not work for me.

I needed an at home product in between salon visits and this product is AMAZING! I have light brown highlighted hair that tends to turn orange in between washes. I was generous on the amount of drops. I added this to my olaplex leave in treatment, wrapped a bun then rinsed out after 3 hours. NO BRASSY ORANGE hues!! My hair now has a cool brown tone with shine!

i have lime green hair, so using blue tinted products is essential to keep the brassiness from making my hair color look like vomit lol. the first few pumps were bright blue, but they didnt seem to do anything that i could really see. so after i figured out that it didnt have a very high pigment load, i decided to add the entire thing directly into my leave-in (sebatian potion 9). midway through, i noticed the product had turned dark grey/black. i thought maybe i failed to shake the drops enough, so i stopped and shook the leave-in vigorously to try to blend the darker pigment with the blue, but even after several minutes vigorously shaking the drops and the leave-in both were still black/grey. now i need a new bottle of leave-in.

The fact that I can use this product with my favourite shampoos/hair masks and tone my hair is great,I could not live without this product, it works great!

I’m trying to go grey naturally and with brown hair it gives a little boost to both the silver and the brown. Don’t expect anything dramatic. I use a blue shampoo as well.
