HP Envy 5540 Ink Cartridges - Black & Colour XL Cartridges for HP Printers - By Ink Trader

I should have read the reviews... the first black cartridge lasted next to no time. They were v helpful by email and sent another. I get the attached error message when I tried to use it. At this point I have requested a refund rather than a replacement.I hope they work in other printers but in the HP Envy 5540 I have it seems they do not work.The colour one seems okay but I rarely print colour so let's see.

Would never order again, cartridge must have been partially full as the black cartridge lasted 25 pages despite ordering an xl cartridge. Attempted contact stating my issue, only support I got was technical despite explaining the cartridge was definitely empty, now it's gone quiet. I have ended up buying genuine cartridges from HP via Amazon. Everyone is free to make their own mind up about buying from this company, I certainly won't be again.

Perfect cartridges. Dropped a star simply because my printer doesn’t register as full. I get “ printer low on ink “ every time I go to print anything.

Awful product. Advertised as XL but nothing XL about them they are standard size. The cartridge was not recognised and printer is not compatible to tell you how much ink there is. The ink ran out incredibly quickly and printed much less than the HP ink previously used. Will not be purchasing

My printer really didn't like these cartridges. It took ages to get it to accept them and we had to keep resetting the printer whenever we wanted to print. The print quality was poor and then it didn't print many sheets before saying the ink levels were too low to print any more.
