Apparently for HTC Devices ONLY!!!!!! DOES NOT WORK ON STANDARD DEVICES!!!!!
Apparently "HTC" means that it ONLY FITS HTC style devices. If you are looking for a STANDARD MINI USB DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!!!!!!! IT WILL NOT WORK!!!!! I have several old cell phones I wanted to use for music instead of throw them out. These adapters DO NOT FIT AND ARE NOT STANDARD Mini USB!!!!! STANDARD Mini USB adapter/charger connector used on such cell phones as Motorola (RAZR), Lanix, Alcatel, etc. and Data Transfer cables used on Emerson, Philips, etc. I rate this a ZERO!!!

Excelent for road trips.. but
This case is excelent for road trips as you can have music playing and a charger hooked up when using one of the phones that have universal ports. If you're going to be using it at the gym for music it's not the best choice as it's too clunky.

3.5mm HP jack non functional on G1
I bought this so I could listen to pandora while on the road, while keeping my phone charged. I'm not sure whether the problem is my phone or the product, but when I tried to listen to pandora with headphones, the audio only came out the builtin speaker.

NOT mini USB ... it's HTC USB !
They should state up front that it is NOT a regular mini usb .... the slanted shape does not fit for my mini usb needs.

I should have looked at the previous reviews. The mini usb is not a standard that i have ever seen before. It will not plug into the usb that i have on my phone. Only one side of the mini usb has an angle on it. All mini usb's that i have seen have both sides angled so it will not fit.
