Q: What size pots should i get to transplant these into when i get them? i want to make sure i buy them before they get here.

For climates which freeze in the winter, and have A short growing season, we recommend each plant have at least a 10" pot to fill out. With a longer growing time 12-14" is probably better. They can get pretty big.

Q: If i rubbed a little on my dog's fur, would bugs stop bothering him?

Geraniums are toxic to dogs, so I wouldn't put it on your dog's fur.

They will grow well either indoors or outdoor. I had mine growing in pots outside all last summer. When the weather began to get cold, I moved the pots inside. They grew and grew and grew. So they are hardy and grow well wherever you place them.

Q: Are these plants annuals or perenials?

From what I have read the plants in zones 9-11 are similar to evergreens; however, in colder zones they will freeze ergo similar to annuals.
