What a good idea!
I'm not a fan of using plastic if I can avoid, but these saved me hours of trying the rebar mesh to bricks and stuff. This is a brilliant idea and makes preparations for concrete pouring very easy. You can even step on the mesh with these being under it, and they don't break. They hold the mesh off exactly where it should be.

Placed these fairly close together in garage floor slab, could walk on the mesh once laid so did everything I needed them to, two height settings were accurate and consistent, all good!
