I ordered these after some research and these will also work on the Gen 1 hoods. All you have to is match the base to your original. Very easy install and make sure you re-adjust the opener cable to the right tension. I used a zip tie to hold the release cable in place. Works perfect and well worth the money to keep your hood locked down. Don't forget to put some grease in the bottom mount to ensure a clean release of both sides.

Good product and fits well for D13 Volvo 2016.

I bought them for my 2000 Volvo VNL, despite it saying "only for 2004-2007", they work for most older VNL generations. Easy installation just a couple of bolts on one side and nuts on the other side. So far they have worked amazing. No more worrying about my hood flying up on the freeway.

I TRIED ADJUSTING MY OLD HOOD LOCKS, BUT I THINK THEY WERE JUST PLAIN WORN OUT. THESE WORKED OUT GOOD WITH LITTLE ADJUSTMENT. HAVING YOUR HOOD COME DOWN WHEN YOU STOP IS NOT GOOD.

Waste of money. It’s was broken in 4 days .

Exact fit for my 2015 VNL780. Only had one hiccup. The first set that was shipped had 2 left side latches, but a new set was shipped that same day so luckily there wasn’t a big delay. Good quality and work perfectly. I would recommend adding some grease to the pins and the receivers after installing to ensure smooth operation.
