CorningWare G-5C 1.5Qt Fluted Round Glass Replacement Lid

I have a CorningWare French White Round Baking Dish F-5-B 1.6 Litre from the early 1980's. The glass lid recently cracked and the one from this seller is a perfect fit. I tried a few different sellers prior to this one that all sold lids they claimed to be G-5-C and were supposed to fit the F-5-B dish, but all except this one were smaller and didn't fit correctly. Luckily I was able to return them through Amazon. This lid was a few dollars more but it was packed very nicely in a sturdy cardboard box, thick bubble wrap, thick/soft wrapping paper, and the box had instructions to handle with care due to containing glass. Good seller and glad I found a replacement lid that fit.

This is the perfect lid to replace the one we broke to our "Corning Ware F-5-B 1.6L" white fluted casserole dish (stamped into the bottom of dish if you look very closely). The first one we purchased had the bumps on the bottom of the rim so wouldn't sit securely on the dish, but his one does fit.

Exactly what we needed to replace the lid that was dropped on the floor.

Bought to replace an out of production lid for a pampered chief rockcrock 2 qt. Fits inside the lip, but seals for baking .

This replaced the plastic lid on my crockpot, and fits as well as the original. The crockpot is actually not symmetrical so a round lid does not fit perfectly.

I breathed a sigh of relief when I got this and found it exactly fit my White Corningware, casserole dish. I have two of them and wouldn't know how to cook with them. So when the lid fit perfectly, I regained my ability to work in the kitchen. It may sound like a joke, but it wasn't funny when my husband broke the lid. All is now well. The divorce is cancelled.

I have a French White from years ago, broke one of the lids and thought to order. It perfectly, happy I ordered. will order again without hesitation.
