Works very well, sturdy, recessed exterior anchor points allow for mounting close to roof which means minimal added wind noise / fuel penalty even above 80mph. Has held up well in every day use and over the course of two cross country road trips (5-6k miles each), one nearly empty and completely full. Interior anchor points for ratchet straps are very useful when only partially filled. Only complaint is that it rattles a bit when it's empty - not a big deal, and not very noticeable even with windows open.

This fit our Toyota Rav4 perfectly, looks like it was made for it... the only issue is the clamps that were included were not wide enough to go around the factory rails, and there seems to be no place to purchase the larger size (hence the 4 star rating and not 5). got some u-bolts from home depot and made it work, but would love to be able to get the Menabo larger clamp kit somewhere........

This fit our 2018 Chevy Equinox cross bars perfectly. We drove over 1000 miles, part of it at high speeds on the highway and there was no sound. It was totally secure. All of our clothing packed in large duffle bags fit perfectly and kept dry after a heavy rain. We are very happy with this purchase.

Bolts didn’t fit over crossbars on my GMC Terrain or Honda CR-V. Ended up building my own install kit from the hardware store. The hardware consists or ubolts and bolts that you thread on within the box. This box would be 100% better with a clamping mechanism built onto the box that doesn’t require to reach completely into the box while it’s on top of the car. Cumbersome to put on and take off the car.
