My daughter was a NICU baby and so what we used for her was extremely important to me. This was used by the nurses in the hospital so I've stayed with it even after she was released. Quickly relieved her irritation and she was much happier when we used it consistantly

Although this product does not require a doctors prescription it was recommended by a wound care specialist MD. I broke my spine and was in the hospital and rehab for many months and developed bed sores that became difficult to heal, especially the several open soars on my butt. My PCP (primary care physician) referred me to the wound care specialist. He recommended this product 3 time per day and cover with a pad. After 2 weeks I returned to the Doc and the sores were almost healed. He recommended 2 more weeks. After the additional 2 weeks the sores were healed. I then changed to a different dressing and the skin was all cleared. The new dressing was purchased at Amazon.

My wife is in bed 24/7 with a neurological disease, and we haven't had any bed sores since using this product along with an alternating pressure air mattress.
