I got this because I love gardening and cooking. But have no garden space anymore and have zero direct sunlight into my apartment, only indirect via a light well. I’ll be completely honest, I wasn’t sure if it will work or not. Seen videos online which shows it does. So I took the chance. Short answer, it works really well with many types of plants.It came with 4 metal thread with a clip on either side to hang the light. Luckily have have metal pipes across above each room (sprinkler system), so I was able to hang it on there. Solid and sturdy. Holds well. The unit is very well made. The fan is quiet, hardly noticeable.I put a potted basil which I got from the supermarket, and from seed I planted parsley, radish and chilli peppers. The basil grew very well. The previous basil plant died after 4 days, now it’s been weeks since purchase, I’ve had to adjust the height so it doesn’t burn. Picked all the leaves and news ones sprouted. The radish seeds started to sprout after 3/4 days. Chilli peppers after 8 days and parsley after 11 days. After the success with these, I have added two cactus, gardenia, and two other small tree plants. All growing well.I took advice from the questions and answers. Kept the distance between 8-12 inches, turned both lights on. I have it on between 13-16 hours a day. Also used a cardboard cutout to reflect the light back at the plants plus to protect myself and son from looking directly at it.For me, it’s worth the investment. Planting is a hobby which helps my love for cooking. It give me some greenery that my apartment lacks and without it, impossible to have. Also it educates my son. So any buyers, consider these points to know if it’s worth getting.***update***After 9 months. It has worked tremendously well for the plants. But unfortunately half the lights stopped working. It’s not the end of the world as the ones that are working, are the ones needed for the plants I have. Amazon, as usual helped to sort it out.

I bought this light and can say that it was a great beginner light and my houseplants did react positively good to it. The heat output it low and fans are very quiet. i have now got a 1000W full spectrum spider farmer light for my main succulents, cacti and vegetables but still have this to start all my heirloom seedlings and work amazingly! I recommend this light and packaging was very good! delivery was fast too! thankyou!

The lumens in these are way too low for anything but seedlings and cuttings. You literally have to put the light on top of them to get any useful lumens.You will be having to buy a Mars light or some other quality light to get any kind of fruit/flower harvest. But this light is excellent for supplemental lighting as well as the fans. The fans inside when set next to a Mars light work well.I bought 3. One was sealed and 2 were open. One had the daisy chain lead that was in when I ordered. 2 did not have the lead but the company offered me a refund of £15. Which has never arrived.You absolutely will need a higher quality light for anything but vegetables.

Seems to be a great product very solid build and great value for money would be 5 stars but the cable goes into the top of the device meaning I cant use it for a compact space 😐😕

Turned this bad boy on today, everything seems great. I’ll update this in 2 weeks and let you know if there’s any difference to plants 🤞🏻Update: this thing sent my plants in to overdrive, there were noticeable changes after just two days... incredible for the money 👍🏻 I’ve now bought another one of these, the daisy chain works great, both lamps on one timer and working perfectly. I even had to raise the lights a little because of the intensity but now my grow tent is dialled in 5/5. Love these lights 🤙🏻

Great item and very reasonably priced .Works extremely well to germinate and veg .Can be used for flowering but the red/warm spectrum range isn't as high as the veg. Build quality is good and fans are quiet enough to run 24/0, one light can cover 2 decent sized plants

Great beginners Led, This light has been over my plants for 5 weeks now this will be used for first few weeks of my grows, its made a massive difference, I would highly recommend this for the vegative state of small grows. Haven't tried it for blooming and very interested if anyone out their has, I have the Mars Hydro Ts600 to finish off my grow with confidence.

No noise at all actually , you can bearly listen to the fans working. very good manufacture quality.plant seem to really like it. I recommend it
