Mens DC Net SE Skate Shoe, Black/Black/Grey, 6 D US

These shoes are great. I highly recommend you do the following when you buy these shoes or any shoes of this material. Buy the spray that waterproofs these shoes. I bought Kiwi Protect-All spray. I sprayed a total of 3 coats. But do it in this order. First coat is a thin coat, wait until it dries in open air. Once dry, apply a second thin coat and wait until it dries in open air. Once dried I applied a third thin coat and waited until it dried. Now I waited until the next day to wear them. Since it wasn't going to rain anytime soon, I sprayed them with water as if it were rain. I then left them out to dry. Once they dried I applied my final coat, making it the fourth coat. They have gotten wet and water literally rolls off.NOTE: When applying the spray, I took the laces off. I also applied the spray on the tongue of the shoe. I only sprayed the outside of the shoe, not the inside. Also I did all of this outside in the open air. I did it at night but you can do it in the day as well.

My last pair of DCs fit slightly small (a 13 seemed more like a 12 1/2), so I got the same size this time, but these fit a lot more like I expected the last ones to fit. That's to say, I think these fit as expected and my previous pair did not.The comfort and look of these is great! I've had similar skating shoes before, but more than any previous pair, the tongue on these is incredibly thick. I initially tried tightening the laces a bit too much, and my feet were squished and uncomfortable on the top. Once I loosened the laces a little bit, the problem went away entirely, and the shoes are very comfortable.I'm not a skater, and I've just always preferred the comfort and feeling of wearing a skate shoe. Additionally, I like how many skate shoes look compared with normal sneakers. This pair is no exception--they look great in addition to the typical cushion and comfort I've come to desire in a shoe.

I got the men's shoes because the women's shoes did not quite fit right, and unfortunately they did not have the same pattern I wanted in the next half-size up... But that is beside the point.. these SE Net Skate Shoes are AWESOME!! I normally wear between an 8.5 and a 9 in women's, so I got a 7.5 in Mens, and they're perfect, and obviously you want to go a bit bigger rather than small, if you're a person who is stuck in between sizes like me because a skate shoe should be very roomy and comfortable so you are abel to move your ankles and feet easily and without straining yourself.. Super comfortable for every day wear, I rarely skate anymore but they're great for riding too! LOVE the styles they've got, and I have yet to be disappointed with any pair of DC shoes... Two huge thumbs up from me!!

I ordered the same size 10 1/2, as my last pair of DC court graphix shoes. I am currently wearing a pair of Etnies and they too are size 10 1/2 and fit fine. This pair I ordered were pretty tight, although, I think they would fit better after they are broken in. The shoe length was fine but they were tight on the width. My 12 year old son fell in love with these and they fit him perfectly so I gave these to him and ordered a pair in size 11. Those will fit perfectly I am sure. This is a very nice looking pair of Skate shoes, high quality, the sole is stitched to the side of the shoe so they last a really long time. This is a great sneaker at $59.99 but at $27.99 These are the best shoes anywhere. I would have given the shoes a 5 star rating if they fit a little better so it will have to be a 4 star rating this time!. Just order a half size larger and all should be fine!!!!

Before i start this review i should let you know that i wear a size 15. If you know someone with a foot this size or higher then you know shoes are hard to find and even harder when looking for a certain style. DC shoes defiantly knows how to make great shoes and I can get enough of them. These shoes aren't too wide and not at all narrow. Its a perfect fit and best of all they last a lot longer then other shoes that I've bought. This is my second pair, the first pair are fine but needs some clean, so if you want a shoe that't different from all the Nike's and Reebok's that everyone keeps wearing give these a try.

Style is top notch. But as a lot of people have stated, the toe box is small. It literally squishes your toes together. Others who have sized up seem to still have this happen. It's possible they might stretch out if worn but I doubt I'll waste my time in wearing them just to be disappointed if they don't. These will be going back.

My wife got these shoes for me and I love them. These are my favorite pair of shoes hands down. I have all types of shoes and would take these over any of them, they are soft comfortable and stylish. I get compliments on them everywhere I go. I am a cowboys fan so the color combo matches my jersey's perfectly. Overall couldn't be happier with these

These shoes are really cool, I actually bought them to match a neon green t-shirt i had bought. They were comfortable when worn correctly. What I mean is, I'm not used to wearing skater shoes, which are designed with a huge tongue and looser laces. So when I try to tighten these up like regular tennis shoes, they kill my feet. I like them though, and the bottoms had a nice tread on them. I did skateboard with them and they were stable.
