HOW TO CLEAN 1. Dampen the sponge with warm water. In order for the soap to work into a cleansing lather, your dirty sponge must be wet. Put the sponge under warm water and squeeze the sponge to remove the excess water. The sponge should be just damp not soaking wet. 2. Squeeze a dime-sized drop of mild liquid soap, like baby shampoo or dish soap, onto your sponge. Massage the soap into the sponge with your fingers. When the sponge has absorbed all of the soap, rinse it under warm water and squeeze out the excess water. Repeat this process until the water coming from the sponge is clear. Instead of massaging the soap into the sponge with your fingers, squirt the soap into your hand and roll the sponge between your palms. Reusable sponges are very absorbent. To remove all of the makeup, you may apply soap and rinse the sponge several times. 3. Once your sponge is clean, squeeze out all the excess water. Grab a towel and wrap your sponge in it and squeeze the rest of the water out. Repeat this step a couple times until you feel the sponge is mostly dry. Lay sponge out overnight to completely dry. As your reusable sponge dries, it will shrink down to its original size. WET USE A wet makeup sponge is used for the application of liquid or creamy products such as primer, foundation, concealer or lotion. Steps to using a wet sponge: 1. Wet your sponge until it is fully saturated. 2. Squeeze out excess water. 3. Dip sponge into foundation, liquid or creamy product. 4. Gently press or roll the sponge onto your skin to provide coverage. 5. Seamless finish. DRY USE Dry makeup sponge is best used for the application of powder products, highlights, blush and eye-shadow. Steps to using a dry sponge: 1. Dip sponge into powder makeup products, such as blush and eye-shadow. 2. Gently dab or roll the sponge onto your skin to provide coverage. 3. Seamless finish.
