Fastcabling Outdoor PoE Extender Ideal for HD IP Camera, Access Point, VoIP

After the first rain I had lost connection, when I checked the range extender I was able to shake water out of it. when I took it apart the inside was fried. IP66 waterproof must mean " don't let it get wet"The company reached out after I left the review. They told me it was under warranty and they would refund or send a new one . I told them they could send another and I never heard from them again.SECOND UPDATE!!!!!A while later the company contacted me again, with a solution for the problem. They wanted to send me a new range extender and an enclosure they made up so that I could bury it and keep it dry. I have received everything and it looks like it will work fine, I have not had time to install it yet, but they are making an effort to correct the problem. They have also mentioned in their ad that direct it should be placed in an enclosure for burial.
