RoadPro RP0719 12-Volt 15oz. Premium Heated Travel Mug, Silver, Black

I'm a trucker and so far so good. But this is what ive learned about these cups because I have several. when it turns itself off, DO NOT turn it back on because plug WILL melt. Once an hour works fine for me.

This is my second cup the first one lasted 8 years I did have to replace the cigarette plug,it's not made to support the current that the cup uses. My advice is to keep the area were you attache the cord to the cup dry, when I took my first one apart it had corrosion all on the connector and electronics.

Update, yes a little late, but this mug quit like all the rest of the so called smart mugs. Lasted two months before it stopped working. No problems with the cord, just wouldn't work any more. Going back to the Stainless Steel Electric Smart Mug . Just going to live with replacing them every two months. Well, finally a quality Heated Coffee Mug. The design of this Mug is much better than the Princess Line of Heated Mugs. I have gone thru over a dozen of the other Mugs, and each one fails after a Month or two. Liquid gets into the Heating element and causes failure, and the power cord fails before that. I use to seal the outer display on the other mugs with epoxy and that help for a while. This one appears to have a gasket around the display and after a month of daily use, no problems. Also, the power cord is much better that the others. I will update after 6 months if it is still working.

We bought this for the use of heating water for our baby for her formula. We are very impressed. Perfect temp on low to drink right way. I have not used the higher setter yet.

The mug is good and works well, the only main issue with it is that it leaks easily. This is due to the cheap gasket they are using located in the lid which isnt doing a proper job of sealing the lid in when you twist it. If your willing to spend a few extra bucks you can get yourself a better gasketThe gasket (o-ring) I bought had an inner diameter of about 2 1/4" and an outer diameter of 2 1/2" or 2 5/8". This cost me around 8 bucks for a pack of ten and is doing a MUCH better job of keeping the lid from leaking.You can also measure the inside of the lid where the gasket is located to get your measurements as well and order the appropriate gasket.

Product leaks despite lid being turned at tightest setting requiring extra rubber gasket to be installed and used. Issues at plug-in point on side of mug, got worse and worse with power cut-offs until stopped completely. Apparent wear-out due to mug being picked up and down from car drink holder in center console flexing power cord back and forth causing wear and power cut-offs. Only bright spot being it heats drinks faster than any other car plug-in mug used.

It was delivered on time, with no issues at all. I got it as a gift and the person I gave it too loves it! It works great! Amazing product!

Got this for my husband he his a trucker.

Loved the mug. Until the lid separated. Then I lost a silicone casket upon investigation. That's my second Mug, Don't think I'll Buy another.
