There were some negative reviews about this that almost turned me away. After receiving the product, not having any issues, and having the cover perform perfectly, I have decided that it must have been user error or cases of factory defect. It’s a great cover and it protects my keyboard from crumbs and liquids adequately.

I bought a Gigabyte laptop recently that I most definitely want to protect. It's not a very popular brand, so I couldn't find a molded keyboard cover for it like my last Macbook. I was skeptical of this cover, but the other reviews convinced me to give it a try. Glad I did. I play video games on my computer, so being able to easily identify the keys is important. With the cover on, I can easily see and (more importantly) feel all the keys. It doesn't slip and seems to have made a decent seal around the keyboard. It actually doesn't look half bad. Update 1 year later: It's still in one piece. No holes or worn spots, but sadly it no longer sticks so it slides around a little now. I still think it's a good buy, especially for the price. It keeps out dust and dog fur and crumbs or whatever. Cleans off easily with a rinse in water, but I guess you'll sacrifice the stickiness/grab of the bottom (even though on other silicone mats I have water has never affected the hold). I may just buy a new one a couple times a year as I don't foresee any manufacturer making a molded cover for my laptop model. 3rd picture is the update.

It is good! I stopped using it though because it kept falling off if the laptop angled.

Using it since last 5 years still it is like new . Wash it every month with water to clean keyboard protector.

Meh. It fits the keyboard, and it's the thin silicone material I expected, but it was packaged in a folded container that has left what appears to be a permanent crease in the material. A soft crease, such as one would expect of an item folded around paperboard, but a crease nonetheless. The manufacturer's packaging included a rigid paperboard backing to maintain the product shape, but the seller (or shipper) found no use for that. Also, installation instructions say "paste" to the laptop. Really? What sort of "paste" does this folder of silicone keyboard coverings recommend I apply to the laptop keyboard I'm trying to protect from foreign substances? Static cling does not seem to hold it down, especially with - did I mention -- creases from being folded for shipping. Without some sort of adhesive, it does not completely protect the keyboard from spills. It protects from dust or from dripped liquid, but not spills.

Me llegó en el tiempo acordado, todo bien sin novedad ni daños. Le queda muy bien a mi laptop, se siento muy suave no interfiere en la escritura y las luces rgb se ve genial.

I have the Toshiba Chromebook 2 - 2015 Edition (CB35-C3300) and for those of you that have this laptop too...you know it's hard to find accessories for it! I would have preferred having those colorful and individually keyed protector but I'm so glad I was at least able to find something to prevent dust (mostly crumbs or spilling things onto my laptop because I'm guilty of eating while browsing haha!) from getting into my keyboard. It shifts around just a bit but in terms of size, it fits just right on the keyboard for this Chromebook. As they described, it doesn't affect my typing, it's relatively clear so you can see the keys and washable. Just rinse it a bit with water and a little bit of soap if you spilled something on it. I would have liked it to not have these little air pocket bulges but maybe it happens with just me? It's not that big of deal but if you prefer a smooth and super clear keyboard skin, then maybe this might not be for you. For the most part it does the job for $5 and I'm happy with my purchase!
