DC Batman The Dark Knight Rises: Bane Mask for Kids by Rubies, Boy's No Size

So first off I'll begin by saying I'm not a child ( at least not in age) and was very pleased with the film adaptation of Bane in The Dark Knight Rises. Being as the film just came out there are very few costumes and items available which is to be expected until it gets closer to Halloween time. I looked at the other mask which is for adults and began reading the reviews which were mostly good but many of them said while the quality of the mask was fair for the asking price it had one major flaw which was the size. Many of the users said that unless you had a bigger head the mask was kind of loose and didn't fit right. Being as I wear a size 7 hat I decided to take my chances with the child mask in hopes to avoid this. I ordered on Saturday and got it today (Monday) which I was really please about. I was nervous about opening it thinking maybe that I had wasted 25 dollars on a mask which was way too small. I was pleasantly surprised to find the mask fit perfectly. It does however differ from the picture which is displayed. The two slits on the side are not cut out like depicted but can be easily modified if it really bothered you that much. The mask is made of rubber, not plastic and is very flexible, which is great in case you maybe misjudged the size of your head. Lastly it has no chin strap which I was glad to see. For 25 dollars it was a pretty good deal as opposed to paying 5 dollars less for the adult mask and have it be way too big and have to butcher it in hopes of a tighter fit. If you dig the way Bane looks in the movie and want a pretty cool mask for a good price but aren't as jacked as Tom Hardy then drop the cash on this mask. You won't be disappointed!

Im a 24 year old man that just wanted to be bane for holloween. The adult bane mask as you may have read if youre doing your homework is absolutely too big, even for my big head. So yes I had to purchase two masks. The childs mask ALMOST fit perfectly. It was a little snug but of course, im an adult. It ripped a tiny bit, so my girlfriend cut both sides and sewed black elastic (like a head band or a sports sweat band) connecting the sides where she had cut. Perfect! Stretches, not too tight, more importantly STAYS ON as opposed to the adult sized. Only wore it once but that was a pretty neat holloween costume. And it was the childrens mask that did it!

This is a great value for the price, but will arrive smooshed flat and need time to be rounded back out. As with most masks, it will need about a week to air out. The painting job obviously doesn't get time to dry before it goes in the package since mine had two parts glued together by dried paint after being smashed together. However, it didn't ruin the paint job and it's decently painted. It has rounded out quite well, but the edges are fairly sharp and will need some personal customization and attention. The cheek slots weren't cut out, so you may need to do some touch-up with an Exacto blade. It's definitely too small for the average-to-larger male adult, but perfect for women. Might be a little large on younger children, but still a lot of fun. :D

I have a small head and it fit pretty well... I didn't like that it was hard to get the bends out of the mask when it was shipped, it must have been folded but it was a nice product. it did push up my cheeks into my eyes lyrics was a little weird but okay. the color of the mask wasn't quite what was shown in the picture but it still gave that Bane look with okay quality for a low price

I am 20 and I tried on the adult version of the Bane mask at a Halloween store. It was ok but it just kinda hung on my face. I was worried about the size of the kid's mask but when it arrived today, I tried it on and make no mistake, it was TIGHT. However, it looks awesome and despite being tight, it really was not overwhelmingly uncomfortable. Be careful, some people will surely find this too uncomfortable to wear, but I love it. It looks REALLY good and seems much more "authentic" compared to the fit of Tom Hardy's mask in the movie. I recommend it if you don't mind a snug fit.

I think this is an excellent mask for it's price. Don't get the adult size since it doesn't fit most people. Initially the mask looks like it was painted in a hurry. However it can look amazing with a few cheap and easy modifications. Just use a silver, gold, and black sharpie for the details. Let it dry for a day and spray it with hair gel. I'll probably get the more expensive mask in the future, but this is an excellent already.

I read some reviews saying that this was a good fit for adults with small heads. I have a smaller hat size than any other adult I know (including women) and it tore on me just trying to get it on. On top of the fit issues, the thing is horribly painted (sloppy and inconsistent paint applied seemingly at random) and almost impossible to get to hold a shape. The only bright spot about my purchase of this product was that I got it on sale for <$10.

Mask was torn.. not worth the money

Like most people purchasing this, I ordered this because the mens was too large for my face! It fits perfectly. I was a little concerned when people kept saying the mask has a really strong scent to it but it was no stronger then a mild plastic toy. I didnt find it to bother me at all it was quite faint smelling. I AM BANE

Nephew loved it and uses it when acting out scenes from batman

Nothing worng with the product is was just a little too small for my head.
