Experience high-quality Full HD 1080p video, in real-time with the Lukas LK-7950 Dashboard Camera Duo with built-in WiFi. The WiFi connectivity of the LK-7950 allows for quick and easy access of real-time footage, from the front or rear camera, directly from your smartphone. You can also download recent footage and configure the dashboard camera right from your smartphone--the full device menu is available at your fingertips. Simply search for the Lukas Dash Cam app in the Google Play Store or the App Store. The LK-7950 front and rear camera support 1920 x 1080p Full HD. The system features two Sony IMX322 Full HD Image Sensors to provide clearer and more accurate detail; the Sony IMX322 sensors also greatly improve image quality for both day and nighttime content. The LK-7950 is also equipped with a safety mode function that is configured to cut-off voltage according to the season for enhanced durability, even in extreme temperatures. The camera offers a wide variety of recording options. Always Recording records continuously while the engine is on; the video sequence is stored every 3-5 minutes. Parking + Motion Detection Recording records and saves 30-second video (previous 10 seconds/post 20 seconds) from the moment of motion detection. Event Recording begins recording when the G-sensor detects sudden changes or impacts like accidents and records 30-second video (previous 10 seconds/post 20 seconds) that is saved to the Events folder. The LK-7950 also offers a variety of convenience functions including dual-core GPS + GLONASS system, bright security LED, sleek rear camera, voice guidance, and automatic brightness control function. A built-in Super Capacitor battery will safely save the current recording, even when the power is cut-off by an accident or mistake. The LK-7950 is compatible with OBD II (optional) that saves drivers' operation information in separate Excel files (requires LK-750, sold separately).

Warning
Do not — repeat, DO NOT — purchase this item. While it worked flawlessly out of the box with the firmware version that was included, that is the extent of praise this product, and company, deserve. The company, from South Korea, offers NO TECHNICAL SUPPORT. Similarly, little, if any, of the literature, instructions, apps, or computer viewing software designed to work with the device is English-user friendly. The English instructions were prepared by a half-wit using Google translate. There are two methods of setting up the camera for your driving and viewing needs, either through a cell phone application or a computer program. The former can be used wirelessly with the device, while the latter requires removing and downloading the changes to the SD and microSD cards.Let’s talk about the cell phone app first. The user is instructed to use LukasView by QRonTech. This app does not allow the user to change the language used by the device. (Did I mention the default language the device uses is Korean? This becomes problematic in that the user relies on that voice at times for instructions in the operation of the device.)QRonTech also offered — past tense, as in at one time but changed without notice — an exact duplicate app called Qvia. This had all the features of the computer version PLUS allowed the user to select English as the language of choice. But to no avail, within the past three weeks (April 2016) the app no longer will allow the user to select the language.Firmware version 17 came with my device. When firmware version 19 was offered, someone within Lukas’ technical services division forgot to give the users a heads-up that Korean was the default language spoken by the device and there was no option ANYWHERE to change it to English. Of course, sellers here in the US and Canada scrambled to rectify the issue through Dashcam forum(s) as best they could by suggesting users “downgrade” to the former firmware version 17. But, oops. Lukas removed the linked page for version 17.A month later, firmware version 21 appears but Korean is still the default language and after three days of researching every forum, private messages with other users, and emails to a Lukas distributer (who earnestly tried to help), I’ve got a device that can’t decide if it should be version 17, 19, or 21. But rest assured, it still speaks to me in Korean.I forgot to mention, whenever I plug in the Lukas-provided, mini-USB, male-to-male cord that connects the rear camera to the main camera, I get an “Error2” message on the screen, along with a Korean voice that, if translated, probably is telling me that there is a camera recording error. Again, research, private messages, and emails sent me in circles. Plug the rear camera in, don’t plug the rear camera in, use only Lukas cords, what firmware version am I using, etc. Still “error2” message. If you purchase this device, you risk paying $300 to hear a computerized Korean female voice telling you that you were a fool for buying it.

Beautiful Video. Everything else sucks hard.
Sweet little camera with great picture day and night and lots of features. Terrible user interface and WiFi connection and SD Card corruption issues and you better know Korean or learn it because no other languages supported despite it stating so in the manual and online and in the app. I've burned through 3 SD cards and 4 factory defaults in less than a year. I really wanted to love this thing but it is just too much hassle. And the sticky tape that holds the main unit releases in the heat of a late September day to say nothing of July and August. Dang this thing is annoying. Great video though and the PC review app is balling once you fight the UI into submission.

Three Stars
I am the owner of a driving school in Nevada and the reason why I purchase this product was because of the heat resistance and for that it is good, for the voice I have had no problem they both speak English, what I do not like: not compatible with Apple so no way to download your video unless you have Microsoft and the WiFi is very week and if your are to close from buildings or homes that uses WiFi well you will not be able to connect it to your cell phone.

The quality of the picture is great. The only issue I had was the time ...
It takes a little time to get it installed, but is well worth it. The quality of the picture is great. The only issue I had was the time was always wrong, then I realized they have it set to Greenich Mien Time and it was set for California and I'm in Arizona, so once I figured that out and reset it, it is always on time.

Program will NOT always load scan disc videos.
Never read anything that says I have to pay $4.99 per month to use this device. What am I paying for? It runs on wifi. Also, screen is black a lot of the time. You cant review anything without first downloading it, which is 190 mb front and 130 mb rear to download. Im not convinced I made a good purchase. The rear window is not built appropriately so as to see license plates of rear vehicles. Really no good location on a sedan rear window. Im contemplating drilling a hole in trunk for a better view. As far as the footage loading, Ive only gotten the list of incidents twice in 13 uses. It usually says NO FILES FOUND, which is incorrect. This is very bad. No intruction on how to hardwire and accessories cant be shipped to the U.S.A. This a huge problem.

Awesome Dash-cam Lk7950 I love this dash cam
Awesome Dash-cam Lk7950I love this dash cam. It has very good video quality during the day recording and good at night quality recoding . This dash cam is an upgrade for me from lk7900 ace.I am happy with is purchase and highly recommend it.But be careful when updating it. You have to make sure it's the right firmware. I learned that the hard way. Lukas product reliability are the best. I also love the wifi upgrade on this product. It sits right behind me rearview mirror and its out of the way. Sometimes I forget even it's there. I have mine hooked up to the cigarette outlet. The Lukas tolerate heat and are great heat resistance dash cam. I know my lk7900 ace has proven that to me. It's worth it in my opinion. It's has has all you need in a dash cam.
