DATEL Action Replay Powersaves For Amiibo Character Boost And Cheats

I bought this device mostly for unlocking custom moves on the Wii U version of SSB. With this device, the way of doing this is through the Random Cash & Items code. It applies a random set of things you would normally get from an amiibo- cash, equipment, outfits, but also custom moves. I did not want to buy a turbo controller that I would only use once. My method for unlocking customs was having my amiibos battle overnight and reap the rewards. I decided this would be faster than that.First of all, the random cash and items aren't exactly random. For some reason, most of my batches contain a ton of mario trophies- like 5 or 6. I don't really understand this. I think I have a mario trophy already. There are probably other patterns for repeats but I haven't noticed them as I am just looking for custom moves. Second, I wish there was a way to modify this a little more. I understand not being able to alter exactly what items your amiibos get because that requires a lot of options that powersaves needs to have available in the code menu. BUT it would be nice to say have an amiibo only get custom moves in their batch of items so then at least you have better odds of not getting repeats. I don't know if this is possible with SSB but it would be very nice to have. Third, I have noticed that sometimes I do not get enough items to fill an entire amiibo. Like when I scan it in and the items show up, I will only have larger icons and the items do not fill the entire screen.The interface on the program is not very good imo. For powersaves 3ds, the codes are all written down and listed vertically but for some reason on this, the codes are shown one at a time and you have to use a scroll bar thing to see the next code. This is not very intuitive especially for someone who is just getting around. Also I think the very first code when you select SSB should be the random items one because most people will grind that code out.This still might be the fastest way of unlocking customs to date, but it is not passive at all like the turbo controller method. You have to keep grinding out powersaves and wii u. The good news is that Powersaves is always updating their codes and they keep making things better. They probably won't change the program interface, but the codes themselves will probably keep getting better. This device is also great for using amiibo for more than one game as you can back them up. I only use them for SSB so this is not a feature I utilize but still.

This is the Datel I remember. -The interface is easy enough to follow without reading the directions and it does exactly what it claims to. -The backup and restore process works reliably and is not complicated to use. -It's great to be able to use amiibo with more than one game. (backups are a wonderful thing!) -This is a great device for altering stats and unlocking levels and items. It isn't a memory hacking device like the older Action Replays, it's a game save backup and modification tool. -There are not a lot of supported games, but there aren't a lot of games that really use amiibo for more than unlocking items or getting some sort of prize. It does require internet access to run the software (which works great in Windows and OSX) which allows for updates as new games become available. -I have four level 50 characters with ludicrous stats battling it out now, it's fun to watch. -The ability to backup/restore the amiibo data so you can use them with multiple games is worth the price on its own.

Product does what it says but the software is lacking. The software is not intuitive and no instructions leave you wondering if this is a legit product. I give it 4 stars because it will work and is the only solution I know of on the market.

Seems Legit. I tried it out for my wolf link amiibo but totally wont work. Do not know if I am doing something wrong, but it wont give me 20 heart wolf link for breath of the wild.

It works exactly like everyone has said. It can back up data allowing a single amiibo to be in multiple fames without a restart of the other everytime. It can alter stats or give items to fp in smash however items are random. I heard reports of it being mostly the same item but only gave experience typical smash repeat system rather then every trophy being mario. Overall very satisfied with the product.

Works exactly as it should. Amiibos scan very quickly and can be altered within seconds. The software that this hardware runs with works smoothly in Windows 10. As an Amiibo Hunter I'm very satisfied with this item. I mainly use it to boost amiibo stats, to give certain skills(because I don't have the items) or certain abilities in Smash Bros.

It works but it IS NOT the amiibo hack that allows you to change the character code.

Amiibos to scarce? Amiibos to expensive online ?...well this is your solution!!! When you buy this go to codejunkies.com and buy powertags and then go to a nfc library to download any amiibo into any powertag...this is amazing!! for now!!

I really like the powersave for amiibo but I didn't get the powertags with it?! so the question I'm asking myself is what exactly can it be used for?

I thought this thing was useless since PowerSaves only work on a couple games until I tried to use NaMiiO software on it and it worked. This device is amazing and is like having all the Amiibos. But you will need to search for the software and bin files which are available on the internet. It also comes with 1 Powertag which can be programmed and reprogrammed in a matter of seconds. It is well worth the price I paid for it.

Be carefull, this doesn't come with any powertags so you will have to buy them seperatly. The cable that comes with it doesn't work. Overall you should probably buy this elsewhere, there's other place where it comes with powertags and cost less. At least it's working ...

Needed for full heart wolf link for botw. It worked perfectly.

Bought this thinking I'd get the same as the picture and received newer (white) version that comes with the "Power Tag". Definitely worth the $27 I paid.
