This brand has been recommended by two healthcare professionals as a high protein, gluten free, low sugar snack for those times when you can't get something to eat and need to keep blood sugar stable.These are not candy bars, but they do taste good.I noticed another review that mentioned that theirs was delivered and the expiration date had passed. I recently read an article that mentioned that many food items that were passed their expiration date were still good, just passed their "best if used by" they might be a little drier, less flavorful, but had the same nutritional value, etc.The bars I received were a few months passed their expiration date. But they still tasted okay. And they still work to keep blood sugar stable and for and alternative to unhealthy snacks.

These bars were recommended by my nutritionist because I need to watch my blood sugar, and I always feel good after eating them (they don't spike my blood sugar). Unlike many other bars I have tried, these actually taste good. They satisfy me when I get a sweet craving, and I find I don't get tired of the flavor.My wife and I keep a supply in the car, purse, etc. They're great if you get stuck in traffic and start feeling low blood sugar.The company makes several other flavors. This one's my favorite.

So far I have lost close to 35 lbs. Tried this on the recommendation of my doctor who does one of the most successful diet programs in South Florida. They keep your blood sugar level, mood steady, and free of hunger. Plus, they taste delicious. Getting them via Amazon is cheaper than the MD office...but the same great product. I would recommend the entire BioGenesis line to anyone who is seriously considering losing weight, who is hypoglycemic or has a need for a steady blood sugar level.

I am always looking for bar that is palatable and nutritional. I've purchased this bar several times; it's my new go-to bar. It fills all my nutritional requirements and is delicious! There isn't any negative taste that is typically common. Best of all...my holistic nutritionist recommends this bar! The bars always arrive fresh.

Excellent pick-me up for afternoon drowsiness/defocus at work. It's delicious, nutritious, and stabilizes blood sugar to reduce sugar craving and non-stop eating to stay awake and focused in the afternoons at work. Highly recommended over other non-nutritive, high-fat, high-sugar candy bars that contribute little to energy/focus and leave you craving more.

AWFUL!!!!!! Bars are not fresh. Discolored (old light brown coating on bars)

These were stale. I've ordered them from other sources and they were very good but this batch was awful. The chocolate coating was white and flaky and the inside chewy (not the good kind). The printed expiration date reads May 24, 2011. I ordered them July 2011, and I did not received on a timely basis. I recently requested a refund, but so far haven't heard from seller.

I enjoy them, however they delivered them in warm weather and the chocolate was melted, they didn't hold up in the mail. I'm sorry, they didn't come by mail, they were delivered on my doorstep.
