This is a well built set! We purchased it for our granddaughter because my sister had bout it for her daughter years before and it was still in great condition. You won’t be disappointed in this purchase.

Super cute play kitchen! It arrived quickly. It had all the pieces and was not damaged. My husband put it together within a few hrs.

UPDATE: We have had this kitchen for 1 year, and I wanted to write an update on it's durability. I would say this kitchen is very well made, but cannot sustain a lot of heavy play. Our white insert trays (that pull out) have already broken off. We also had a friend over to play and he easily broke off one of the doors. I would recommend this item, but not for kids who are rough on toys.I did a ton of research and new this was the kitchen I wanted after seeing it at a friend's house. The main reasons I wanted this particular kitchen is (1) it was one of the tallest kitchens I could find. My 3 year old is on the tall side and she will still be able to play with this for years to come. (2) I wanted a big enough kitchen so that my 3 year old and 1 year old would both have plenty of room to play together. And (3) It has a ton of storage space so it can be easily cleaned up without having tons of stuff strew about. We just got this kitchen for Christmas so I can't really rate it's durability yet however a good friend of mine has had the same kitchen for 1 year and has had no problems with it. The only warning I would give it that it takes a very long time to assemble. My husband is very handy and it took us about 3 hours to put together. The only other thing to be aware of is it being damaged during shipping due to how heavy it is. The first time we received this it had been damaged during shipping so we had to send it back. The second one we received made it OK but when we took everything out of the box all of the knobs on the stove were broken. This was probably due to the packaging not the shipping. However, I called KidKraft the next day and they overnighted replacement parts to us so I was very happy with their customer service. If you are buying this for a birthday or other occasion I would just make sure to give yourself plenty of time to check all of the pieces before putting it together. Overall I think this is a great kitchen and I am very happy with it!

It’s a very nice kitchen set. Very study and my great grands love it. I just had to problems with it. First a piece came broken and I tried hard to get a replacement piece. I called Amazon, the manufacturer, even went online. No help. Second the instructions was hard to follow., but I got it built.

Just gave this kitchen to our 2 little girls (ages 5 and 2 1/2) today as we celebrated Christmas early. My husband put it together last night, took him about an hour and a half if that; went together well, no missing pieces, broken parts or anything. He was quite impressed with the way this kitchen was made. They girls have been playing with it constantly since they opened it. My 2 1/2 yr old is very tall (80% in height for her age) and she has to stand on her tip toes to reach the microwave and freezer; my 5 yr old is just barely taller than the kitchen, it is a fabulous size that should last for several years to come.There is SO much storage in this kitchen! The fridge is HUGE, the oven is HUGE, and the dishwasher is HUGE! You won't be disappointed. My little one doesn't understand that the one cabinet is supposed to be a dishwasher and she is happily using it as a 2nd oven which works out well, so each girl gets their own space. I love how the doors swing open like a cabinet instead of pull down like a real oven or dishwasher...we had a yucky plastic set in the past and kids would always sit on the doors that pulled down and of course they broke quickly. The knobs click when you turn them, the phone comes off the wall so it can be "used", it comes with a pretty pastel pot holder, spoon, and little spatula as pictured. THe burners are raised just like real burners, the knobs on the kitchen sink work, and then of course the little storage area above the sink and the entire top of the unit itself.I did tons of research on wooden kitchen sets before purchasing this one. It came highly recommended by several of my friends who have had this product for as many as 5 years, all had wonderful things to say about it, no complaints. All say their set looks brand new even after all the years of play and many different children to play with it.Its a great kitchen for young and older kids to play with b/c of the height, uses lots of imagination and accomodates Melissa and Doug food sets really well.Really happy with this purchase and would recommend it to anyone! (And the price I got on Amazon was like no other! Amazing!)
