Plug and play... Ordered this for my senior aged mother who had grown tired of the monthly gateway rental fee. Now one less fee thankfully.

I don’t like the idea of renting equipment from a service provider, so I looked at this as an alternative. Came looking almost new (slight dirty spot in two areas), but worked great right out of the box. What you spend as an upfront cost, you make back over the long terms by not having to pay equipment rental fees.It works just as advertised, with no lag, dropped signals, or anything like that.

Looked brand new out of the box. Works just like any other Verizon router. Saving me $15 a month. I'm actually mad at myself for not buying a router the last time I had Verizon service. Had no issues getting it to work. It was plug and play out of the box.

I bought this to replace my father's 6 year old Fios router which looked antiquated, assuming this would have had revised technology and a much stronger signal. Not so. Same signal strength, got weak signal upstairs not he other side of the house, which is not very large. In the long run seems to be a waste of money other than this had gigabit ethernet which I used to hardwire my computer when the wifi was too weak directly upstairs from it.

Buying from Amazon I expected to get used but decent item. What I received , router G1100 Verizon Fios, was covered with dust with looks like finger spots all around. Not even wrapped in simple bubble wrap to protect while in transit , just dumped in the carton box. One good thing - router is working.
