Doesn’t adjust
As another person said it doesn’t have the adjustable side to it to hem a circle skirt without it pulling or “baconing” the fabric here and there as you can kind of see on the floral part of my skirt. It did give it the movement and shape you’d expect of horsehair braid however and did work well enough for hemming this circle. Just if you’re expecting it to have the edge to pull in it won’t.

No adjustable edge
Most horsehair braid have one end that has an adjustable thread on the top that you pull if the dress has a circle skirt. This allows the dress to flow nicely without stretching or pulling the gown.This one did not. It CAN NOT be used on a circle dress/skirt without pulling.It's stiff and good quality otherwise. I plan to use it next time I get a dress that doesn't widen at the end.
