Avaya T7406e Cordless Phone

I keep buying these phones because they're compatible with my old system, but they barely work. Very unreliable. I think it's time to buy a whole new system rather than continue to buy these phones and stump along.

Need a professional to set up... Sometimes goes to sleep and can't turn it off that mode... We have to just wait it out... Other than that it works great

Absolute garbage. Wouldn't charge, or hold a charge, power up or initialize right out of box. Immediate return without one minute of usability. I purchased two units and had exact same problem with both, so not likely a fluke lemon, but inferior product. Also, product is Avaya brand and is not branded Nortel as is in picture. (Our original units that we were intending to replace/supplement are the Nortel units pictured and gave us years of satisfactory experience.) Worthless, do not order!

Glad to see these are still around. It's a rather old phone system, but my only other option would be to replace the entire phone system. Works great with my existing system. Thanks!

Out of the box the one phone would only wake up if you removed the battery and the second phone lasted about 3 months until the buttons stopped working making it completely useless.

Was very happy to find this phone at Amazon. My phone vendor was going to charge me about 25% more. I am glad to have an alternate source for my business needs.
