Short life
I purchased the “higher” quality 1600 series to replace my 800 series cover; hoping the quality, durability and life would be better. The 1600 series is way too stiff. The cover did not last as long as the 800 series; cracking/splitting from the folds of the winter storage. At end of season, I roll it up on an a pvc pipe and store in the original bag from the supplier inside my garage. Removing from the pool during season, the cover never touches the ground. It pulls off, folds up onto cover holders that span the width of the pool. The cover life was 1/2 the 800 series; 2 years vs 4 years. I wound not recommend and I will not purchase again.
