My hopes were dashed, dangerous!
My hopes were dashed. I own more than a 2 dozen torches from lighter type torches to big Oxy/Acetylene cutting tools. I own 4 or 5 propane and at least 5 butane torches. I like just about every one - except this one. I had high hopes for a great tool. The first time I filled and lit it I was very happy with the flame, from small to very good sized (for a butane). Then I turned it off and the brass ring on the end fell out, must have heated up and expanded and no longer fit snug on the end. Torch would not 'click' lite without it. When it cooled,I put it back on and I tried again, same thing. I used a micro pulse arc tool to do a couple of mini spot welds on the ring, and then it held. Thought I was in the clear. Bought a new bottle of butane and filled the torch. Next day I went to use it and the torch was empty. Made sure the thing was all the way off and did a small fill. Next day it was empty again. This thing could be very dangerous. Leaking a full torch of butane gas in a closed space could lead to a fire or big explosion!

Got the best torch the first time.
My first finishing of a sous-vide steak made me glad I got the torch and a Nomiku immersion circulator. I bought what the grocer sells as "Value beef" and it was, after 4 hours, ready for the torch. I am happy, happy, happy.

Solid product, only issue is the ability to control the flow of gas its very sensitive, but once dialed in perfect

Worst quality. The first time I used the torch
Worst quality. The first time I used the torch, a small metal ring flew off the end of the torch into the sugar I was melting. I was able to reattach the ring and it fell off two or three more times while trying to use the flame. Then, the knob that controls the fuel pulled off while I was trying to disengage the safety clip.I wasn't able to even use the torch long enough to caramelize the sugar on the creme brûlée. I am highly disappointed.
