Light weight and simple to program
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. With WFH situation we started spending more time in the garden and planted more plants than before. With very high temperatures it ia difficult to water the plants at regular intervals.I have installed a misting system to water the plants and I bought this solar powered timer to turn on the misting system at regular intervals. So far it worked great.Programming is easy. First set up the time to sync with local time. Next step is to program the timer. You should set when to start the timer everyday and at what intervals you want it to turn on and how much time to water at each interval. Once you set this you are good to go.One tip that I found to set time is that it is extremely difficult to change time by more than 1 hour. In order to do this press and hold + or - buttons for couple of seconds then the time goes up or down very quick. Using this method you can set the time in a matter of few seconds. If you wish to water when you want there is a manual mode and when you turn it on simply set the duration for the timer to start watering and the system turns on right away. One thing that I like most in the timer is that it is solar powered and there is no need to replace the batteries or connect to a power source.Display is also very good on the timer and you can clearly see the settings no matter what. Also there is a power save mode to conserve battery. It has got rain delay option too but I didn't get a chance to verify yet.

Replaced My Fancy Wifi Gadget
I admit it, I’m a gadget freak, so when I set out to buy a water timer, I found one that would connect to my WiFi and be controlled by an app on my phone. I quickly found out that was overkill, since I rarely changed the settings, and it was not long before it broke. I had it less than a year. So I abandoned that expensive (over $100) option and bought this simple device. This product delivers exactly what you want it to deliver. It regularly turns the water on and off and is solar power to boot! I didn’t even have to read the instructions, it is so intuitively designed. Good product and expensive lesson learned.

2 out of 3 ain't bad?
We bought three of these. So far two of them are working as expected. The third quit working after only a couple of weeks.

challenge to setup
Not real simple to setup. some additional instructions would be helpful. Like: holding down the set time button will move faster.Initially, I was going to return because the valve was always open even when not doing manual watering. However, something changed and it started working. So far so good for now.

Very easy to setup and use!
This product works very well. Very easy to install. No worries about batteries. Just make sure the solar panel gets some sun. I set it to water every day at 6am. Also has the ability to set it manually so I don't forget to turn it off.Definitely worth getting.

avoid this item - junk
after using one of these water timers for a short period it would not shut off - seemed to turn on fine at the programed time (audible click) but could not be shut off - I purchased 10 of them and the company's support people ultimately responded:from [email protected]'m sorry for the inconvenience. I cannot guarantee you that the product is free from defects.I'm suggesting that's for sure.

Why was this the only one I found!
Geez! it seems like an obvious solution to the problem. I had had some timers for years that started getting glitchy. So I decided to upgrade to a another battery operated timer with 2 zones since that's how I'm using them/it. I never could get it to work. So I'm grumping out in the garden about why are they solar powered timers? As do we now all do, I go to Amazon and find this product. It was a happy day when they arrived and the tomatoes were happy to have consistent water for the rest of the summer.
