I had a duvet cover that was holding a heavier down alternative comforter. As I recently became a very "hot sleeper", I could not stand it for one single minute. This down comforter (more like a blanket) is very, very thin. You wouldn't believe the size box a king size came in. However, it is very, very lightweight, which I was looking for. It actually has kept me warm in conjunction with a lightweight cotton blanket. I do think down alternative comforter is not accurate description. It does not exactly fluff up a duvet cover in any way. It's almost like the duvet cover is empty, but I do find it comfortable to sleep with.

I paired this with the Wooflinen bamboo sheet set because I read reviews that this was good for hot sleepers and guess what?! It is!I'm a hot sleeper and I can sweat at night ofI am "too covered", I live in Cali and it gets warm. I've only used this during the winter and so far its awesome!I sleep with a fan on and my window open, I don't sweat, I'm not cold, I'm THE prefect temperature and also like a baby.Is thinner than I thought it would be but it's an awesome product for the money.Would buy again!

Nice looking and soft. This comforter is quite soft and nice to the touch. It is extremely lightweight and good for the summer. I also admire the stitching on the comforter as it is very tough and resistant to tumble and wear in the laundry or from my cat when we play.

I love this comforter! I'll be honest, I wasn't expecting much for the price. When it came I was delightfully surprised at how soft the material was. I was originally going to purchase a duvet cover but it is so soft that I chose not to. It is also the perfect weight for me. It keeps me warm without causing night sweats which is an issue with most comforters. I love this so much I'll be purchasing a couple more.

This comforter is lightweight and super soft. I've had it a few months now, and I have probably washed it over 10 times. The shape and stitching is all still in place, and the blanket only gets softer over time.I will say, I am a very hot sleeper and I bought this based on reviews stating how light it is. I think it's a great day to day bedtime comforter, but I would not call this a down alternative. It's much thinner than any down or even down alternative I've ever owned. But as thin as it is, it is seriously super soft. I think this is one of the reasons that I (a hot sleeper) and my boyfriend (one of those people who would cocoon in fleece if he could) both sleep comfortably under this comforter. I would purchase it again.

So so soft , lightweight and comfortable! I was a bit skeptical because it is technically a duvet insert . But I used it as a “comforter “ type and it looks great ... and yes the reviews are correct , most definitely great for those hot sleepers , like me !

Love love love! Perfect weight. Color is spot on. Got a qieen size and it's exactly that. If you want it draped over your bed edges get a size up from your mattress size. Soft. Fliffu but not cheap feeling like some blankets. Not too hot. Good length. No she'll s some have previously stated. Did not face in wash. Edges all sewn evenly no gaps. No loose ends.
