YAXI EARPADS for Koss PORTAPRO (Yellow)

I bought these for my Koss KPH 40 headphones and the comfort level is a definite upgrade. I’m not sure whether or not the sound quality has changed but either way my headphones still sound great. These were definitely worth the money. Just be careful though and don’t do it I did: I cut into the top of the package when I received it with a pair of scissors and the pads were very close to the top of the package. I sliced right into one of the pads, ugh! I was able to hot glue it back together with no ill effects.

These things are really worth the money. I used the old ear muffs that the Koss porta came with for 4 years and I finally bought these since those old muffs were starting to fall apart. OMG, let me tell you, I should have bought these the day I bought those headphones. There is little to no drops in sound quality and these are just so much more comfortable. I also use my Koss headphones as a pair of gaming headphones and the ear fatigue I used to get with the old ones was just crazy. Like ears would start hurting after 3-4 hours of wearing it. With the Yaxi ear muffs, my ears dont hurt at all.tldr: Get these. Makes ur headphones so much comfier with little to no audio quality loss.

The stock thin earpads were quite worn after a few years, making my ears hurt after only an hour or so of wearing. These are plush and I don't have any pain, even after several hours. I can't comment on sound quality other than that they still sound great (I'm at work listening to music and Youtube videos in the background, not on an audiophile setup in an ideal environment).Well worth it, and I'll buy them again in a heartbeat if they ever wear out or need replacement.

I’m not sure they do much to improve the sound quality, maybe a bit, but it’s a bit subjective to say the least. What they do well though is that these are much higher quality foam than what the Porta Pro comes with and they make for a more comfortable experience. They are also slightly larger and slightly thicker, so they look good too. Overall, I’d recommend getting these just for the appearance and comfort upgrade.

I hesitated on these for an entire year because there were so many cheaper options but WOW!!! THESE ARE SO GOOD!! THEY ARE SO COMFORTABLE! I am so grateful to the other reviewers because these things are SO SO much better than the black foam pads that your porta pros come with. If you thought your portas were gentle before - you'll be in for huge treat with these pads!!

The ear cups are well-sized and visually appealing. Some users claim they offer added comfort and even enhance the Porta Pro's sound performance—while I can't speak to the latter, their striking aesthetic impact is undeniable. After two years of use, they remain stylish and remarkably durable

If you own, or plan on owning the Porta Pros, you've gotta get these. It's absurd to me now how thin the OEM cushions are. These should be stock. And get two pairs! My word, what a deal. Thanks guys.
