I have did a very Large anount of building in the last 50 years out of wood and steel. And l really like to say that l learned a few tricks in this book. And l also added a few things what they Showed,, and between the book idea and mine toghter l had a inspector saying that is so very differnt l need to take a picture of that joint you have here. I watched him take at least a dozen pictures after he stood in differnt areas and brining his phone up to take another picture. Then he said to me and my crew better hold up on this garage till l hear back to where l forward these pictures to. I can see it will over kill in holding the weight and all the snow we get up here. And being so strong looking that it shows it also has real class. So we do not want someone else to make it look like this but to hide this part of it by not putting it in here like you did it might not hold the first snow flake. Yours will but like l said wait till l hear back before going any more. It is so mine blowing of how it is done.

Book was very educational give me great ideas

Book offers tons of detailed explanation on each phase of the building a garage.

Read it from cover to cover. As a layman, it was very easy to read and easy to follow. A must-read for any DIYer looking at build a shed or garage. May not be as insightful for someone in the construction industry.

Way to simple to help in actually designing a garage more of a book for someone who wants a simplified overview of what some things about garages

Awesome book, it is amazing it answers so many questions I have in building a garage. The only issues it does not have more recent construction technical guide for using foam boards with slab construction. Also lacks any specific building codes. So it is 85% of most answers.

Good book. I was hoping for more designs and some inspirations for a garage design. But, the book was informative.

Info is great. We intend to use in future build

Not a bad book but not what i was looking for, some beautiful garages that are bigger than my house!! All i wanted was a simple car port design or two, i just need to win the lottery.

For the price I thought it would have more content and pages. Gives good basic understanding of the building process. Is really just a large magazine though.
