JS Sloane pomades Heavy Weight Brilliantine

I've cycled through a lot of hair products over the years, but I keep coming back to this. It has a nice smell, adds a nice sheen to my hair, and lasts all day. Highly recommend!

When I went to my barber, they recommended JS Sloane pomades Heavy Weight Brilliantine since I have very stubborn hair. When it was applied, my hair finally stayed in place, and I was relieved. This product has great value for its money considering more expensive brands did not work on my hair even though they were heavy-duty. As long as you take a shower, this product will come off your hair with no problem. It also has a nice scent. It is not strong but you can still tell that it is there.

This was voted the best Men’s Pomade a few years ago so I wanted to give it a try. I’ve been using it for three years so I decided to finally write a review… My hair is very thick and a little wavy, but with this product it stays straight with the wet look. So it really depends on what type of hair you have, what hairstyle you’re wanting to do and which type of product…because if you’re going for the natural look, this ain’t it. I do a high fade comb over and it does great for that. So if you’re going for that type look, this is by far the best product out there. I’ve never used this product with my hair completely dry. It’s only after I take a shower and when my hair is wet. I find that it does better damp. I also like that it’s water based and doesn’t have a lot of chemicals in it. It rinses out well, but I do add hairspray to my look. My regular shampoo does “just okay” but this is due to both the pomade and hairspray mixture. I feel like I get a good cleaning when I use “Head & Shoulders”.

I wear my medium fine hair with a comb over pompadour and this pomade provides the best styling and scent I have found. I have tried several other pomades from Imperial, Uppercut, and Admiral but this heavyweight is my favorite. I find it works best with barely dry hair. If my hair is too damp, I have to use a blow dryer to assist with lift and retention. I am able to achieve a nice pomp with this product. The final result is a nice shine without the wet look. If the hold is broken, a wet comb usually corrects any issues but maybe without the same level of hold. I have not had any issues with flakes nor breakouts on my forehead due to harsh chemicals.

I use this in conjunction with another wax/paste based hair product. It helps keep my hair in place and gives it a nice shine, without a greasy feel to it.

Was recommended this product by a friend of mine. Glad mentioned it as this is my go to hair product now. It can also double has a freshner as well since it smells brilliante. It washes out easier than any of the other products I have used and holds hair in place as expected. I'm going to start using this going forward and telling all of my friends about it.

Here's how much I love JS Sloane Heavy Weight Brilliante: Not once, but twice, I accidentally left my JS Sloane in the locker room at my gym. Both times I quickly made my way back to the locker room only to find, much to my chagrin, that it was no longer there. Luckily, because the Amazon app is so awesome, I was able to promptly purchase a new jar for myself with the swipe of a thumb. Now I am much better at remembering to take my pomade with me when I leave the gym. Thank you for asking. The only solace I have in accidentally leaving this terrific product behind not once, but twice, is that I believe someone in my gym likely found it, opened the jar, applied a little of this awesome sauce to their hair and BOOM! They found themselves rocking hair game they never knew was possible. I like to think that I have spread the gospel of Sloane to the good people of Richmond, Virginia. If you are considering buying this product, know that it was life-changing enough to ruin my day both times that I left it at the gym, only to be restored again upon receiving it in the mail two days later via Amazon Prime. If you are purchasing more of this product after finally running out of the jar you found at the gym about 3-4 months ago, you're welcome.

I'll level with you here, I am not employed by this company. A place of utter delight at knowing my stressful, consuming and expensive hair routine has been replaced by an easier, efficient and much more successful process. This product has reconnected me to my hair, providing me with the feeling replicated only when you take a deep intake of breath following a frantic tussle underwater. I feel like JS Sloane has ridden me of my Folic impotence and my hair game will never be the same.

Excellent product, great smell, and easy to wash out. Excellent hold as well.
