A00485H is a signal adapter between USB and RS485/RS422. Its USB is compatible with USB 2.0. Its RS485/RS422 transceiver is a half-duplex transceiver with 1/8 unit-load receiver input impedance, which allows up to 256 transceivers on one bus. The device is powered by USB bus. It uses only 14mA in receiving mode and 17mA in transmitting mode (point-to-point).
