I'm an old Leatherman kinda guy, but the Gerber's one hand operation is not only convenient but very cool lol.I really like the leather case that this model comes with and the replaceable cutters.

I bought this multi-plier for my Dad as Christmas gift. The tool is truly great! You can literally do everything described in its manual. My only disappointment was that the tungsten carbide inserts never arrived even though I specifically chose the set that came with those and paid extra. Otherwise, my father loves this tool and uses it all the time.

I'm a plant manager and this product saves me down time add I don't need to get technicians to fix easy repairs and I don't have to shut down the machines oftentimes as this tool seriously can handle almost anything you throw at it. I advise anyone getting this multi tool to purchase the add on accessories. They are bits you can use with this tool and include their own little out and pouch that you can store this multi tool in.

Bought this one to replace my needlenose ones. These have made my life alot easier I do commercial property maint and ive used these on acs electrical plumbing and a variety of other tasks. These things are tough I had my needlenose pair for 3 years and they never let me down so im confident that these will do the sameUpdate: This multiplier has let me down the cutter inserts cracked and fell out replacement cutters cost a 1/3 of the price of new pliers think il give leatherman a try

Outstanding and handy tool. This is a replacement for a similar tool that I have used for 10 years and it is starting to get "loose". (Attempted to contact Gerber to see about an "overhaul" but no answer so purchased a new tool. )

The tool is great other than the "NEW" Tungsten Carbide replaceable cutting inserts. The first rusty old fence I tried to cut the inserts crumbled like stale bread. The old tools without the inserts cut through thousands of pieces of wire without a single problem.

I bought this because I lost the one I had for 20 years. The only disappointment I have is that the cutter is a shear type. It doesn't cut heavy wire well as the pliers tend to push apart sideways a little under heavy force. The previous tool cut much better and still worked well when I lost it.
