Armband for iPod Nano 6th Generation - use with or Without Nike+ Receiver

shame on me for not having read the reviews on this before purchasing. Look, this seems like a simple thing to take into consideration and the mere fact they missed this has me questioning who the hell they have designing this thing, a 2nd grader?!Here's the simple fact - you can slide you NANO into the sleeve on the armband, but there is no opening to attach a headphone jack. you also cannot touch/access the nano effectively use the volume control....etc et. So basically this armband just holds the nano on your arm but you can't use it. LOL! WHO THE HELL DESIGNED THIS OR EVEN CHECKED IT BEFORE SELLING?!

This armband will indeed hold your Ipod nano, 6th gen, in place on your arm and will do so for the length of your workout. The strap to velcro it into place bunches up rather easy on my arm, but through patience and learning how to sweet talk it just right, it eventually fits on correctly. The buttons can be pressed, but you must memorize where they are as you will not be able to see or press them easily. Thank goodness there are only three. However of the three there is one I can't get to work without taking the Ipod out of the armband. Finally, the plastic cover over the touch screen does protect it from sweat and water. But it does make the touch screen rather difficult to use. you have to be patient and make your touch commands more than once so it will accept and work for you. As I said, this product, with a little bit of work, does what I need it to do. Which for me is to strap on the Ipod, keep it out of my way to workout, press play, turn up the volume and not move for the entire length of my workout. If you change songs repeatedly through a workout or when your wearing this armband, you'll want to look into a different armband. But if your looking for a good armband to hold your ipod after you press play once and let it run its course through your playlist, this is a fairly good selection and will get the job done for you.

As other reviewers have mentioned, you can't do anything to change anything on the ipod once you have it in the band. BUT if you live in the PNW like me and run in the rain all of the time - you will love this thing. It works great. Just set up your playlist, volume level, pop it in, and go. I hate having to worry about getting expensive music players wet, and this works great for preventing it.

Works great. I agree it's closed in, but if you know where the buttons are that is not a problem. There are two things in the negative. One, the photo made it seem grey, where it's actually black. Second and more importantly, some of the stitching was loose and I'm going to have to fix that. I shouldn't have to fix a product the same day I get it.

I wish I had read the reviews before purchasing. They are accurate. If you want a device to hold your nano on your arm this will work. If you want to actually operate your nano while on your arm do not buy this product.

I love thIs little arm band for my little iPod! I couldn’t figure out how to get the ipod in it at first, but it holds it securely and I can still use the volume, etc with ease. So glad I found it and I received it so quickly! Thank you!!

I had ruined 2 of the new Ipod Touch Nanos while working out because they had sweat get into/onto the devices. This armband has cured that problem as the device stays dry this way.

I've had my little Nano 6 for a long time and I love it. I've gone through 3 armbands. I really like this one ... But, there's always a but. The little plastic latch that you adjust the strap with to tighten it - gets turned and sometimes pinches he arm. But that seems to be an issue with most of them. I works great and protects really well. This model is enclosed - so you really need headphones with volume control.

The armband works well & I am pleased with it. Quality seems quite good & delivery was good.

Extreemly limited access to control buttons while in use. If as stated the Tune Belt was made for the IPod 6th Gen, the design is poor.I would not recommend this item.
