Galaxy appeal
I just got this phone in the mail today as a replacement for another slider. I bought this brand new and it's great. I'm able to put all of my android apps on here and watch you tube and it connects to WiFi hot spots in just a couple of seconds and is good functioning. Some people said that the battery life was short but I haven't experienced battery problems. Might be because I bought everything new. When I use the slider the screen switches over really fast to type mode, that I do like. Some sliders freeze when being switched to keyboard mode. I recommend this phone it's great. I will give another update in a few weeks.4.16.15 Update: This phone is still awesome and it does everything I need it to. I adjusted all of the energy settings and it's awesome. It has a cool texting to calling option; I can be texting and swipe over the persons name in my inbox and it calls them. I would say the only thing that runs the battery down at all is lots of lengthy phone calls or lengthy app use. But the energy settings change this a lot. I enjoy this phone still and I recommend it to anyone who likes the slider feature with a few gadgets to play along side the call and text part. Also I bought this phone already unlocked to use for my tmobile plan and it came as such.

Fairly crappy phone
I was looking for a phone with a real keyboard that I could use in both Israel and the United States and that was not very expensive. I read reviews before buying the phone several months ago, and they were overall fairly positive. My comments about the phone: It works, but it's amazingly slow to respond. Half the time I tap an icon and nothing happens, so I keep tapping, and eventually there is a response. Other times I try to do something and I get an indication that the phone is working on processing my request, but it can't quite do it. For phone purposes I mainly use a "dumbphone" that I have had for probably over five years, and it works fine. I use the smartphone mainly to check my e-mail when I'm out of the house. Since low cost was one of my main considerations, I guess you could say that it's good enough. I wonder, though, whether if I'd spent another 30 dollars, I could have gotten a phone that is not pretty much a bad joke.

I really like the phone
I really like the phone. I was surprised to see it was an AT&T GO phone, but it was unlocked and worked with my T-mobile sim card. Only problem was the battery. It was 70% charged upon arrival and I charged it to 100% before using it but the charge did not last for very long and I had to order a new battery online (only a few more dollars). When plugged into the charger it runs just fine and also as long as the battery is working. Also, to set up the wi-fi and e-mail account it is wise to do so before putting in a sim card, especially if you are using a prepaid sim card that doesn't include a data plan.

Get what you pay for
I got this phone to replace a Galaxy Stratosphere and found it to be similar but much slower to respond to keystrokes. I really like a dedicated keyboard but, the operating system seems sluggish. Front and rear camera are ok but, doesn't have a flash which limits picture taking. Over all it's ok, would make a decent cheap first phone for a casual user.

Much easier to type on
This is my second purchase of this model. Perfect for my needs because of the slide-out keyboard.

Great full featured Android phone
I bought this to provide my mother the capability to text with her grandchildren. She took the device and ran with it, I've not had to explain a single feature to her beyond an feature overview when I gave it to her.It booted up to her service providers network without a hitch, and she is completely happy with the device.

My daughter loves it
I bought this phone for my daughter. she does not have a T-mobile data plan, and this unlocked phone lets her connect to the internet by wi-if, and not pay extra. She loves it, and for $80 you can't beat the price.

Disappointed Amazon customer
The is phone looks great and works well, but it was advertised as an unlocked phone. The phone was unlocked, but it required a code that Amazon never provided. Amazon usually doesn't disappoint us, that is why we have almost exclusively purchased through them.
