Well constructed British timepiece. The simplicity and elegance of this watch supersedes all else. The sapphire crystal and 50 meters of water resistance is a plus because most watches in this category do not always offer these extras. If you decide to buy this watch you won’t regret it.

I'm very happy with this watch. I'm usually a mechanical watch guy, but I went for this because it doesn't have a seconds hand, so quartz doesn't really matter.It exceeded my expectations. Simple, elegant, good build quality. The supplied strap is adequate, but not stellar. I installed a Barton strap that I had spare. It's a keeper.

I was missing a thin dress watch for wearing with some tailored shirts with tight-ish cuffs. this is slim enough to slide under and fits the bill for a classy but not too expensive watch when my thicker watches can't be worn. Date is so small as to be useless for anyone without perfect eye sight but the main markers and hands are very legible at arms length. The band is good quality, not exceptional but it's a $200 watch. I am a bigger guy with 8 1/4 inch wrist the band is barely long enough, for 95% of the population it's long enough just us big wrists might look at a longer band.Shipping was impossibly fast, DHL delivered in 2 days from UK to California somehow, amazing.

This is a nicely finished watch with similar dimensions to the Cartier Tank Must XL. The face numerals are bold and easy to read while the date is almost impossible to read without direct light and moderate eye strain. The black leather strap is soft and comfortable. I included a few other pieces for comparison. My complements to Firstclasswatches who managed to ship this from the UK to Seattle in 5 days and the watch arrived in perfect condition with all materials.

I didn't like the quality of the strap, I bought a tan crocodile embossed leather strap and now the watch looks a million dollars.

Great watch. The hour indices are applied. The numbers, hour hand and minute hand are blued. Light on the wrist. I have a large wrist and the strap fits just fine. It arrives in a nice ROTARY watch box. The shipping is super fast.UPDATE:After a couple of months on the wrist, this watch really has it going on. This is a GREAT buy for just a couple hundred bucks. I replaced the strap with a brown one. The date window is super tiny and honestly, I can’t read it with my poor eyesight; That’s okay though. I am glad to have this Rotary in my collection.ANOTHER UPDATE: Two years later and this is what I can say; I have luxury watches in my collection and this Rotary Cambridge holds its own. For $200 this tank style time piece punches WAY above its weight class.
