Very useful book for perfume enthusiasts.

Way too expensive for a poorly edited, cheaply printed paperback.
This book needed some serious editing and printing quality control. There were lots of spelling errors in naming aroma chemicals in the ingredient lists. Unless you are already very familiar with the correct names you won't be able to formulate a number of the recipes. A few of the pages had smeared print - like the way laser print will smear if the fuser wire isn't working properly. Any number of pages were printed on paper that had creases and or wrinkles in them. There were places that simply looked as if they ran out of ink so you were unable to quite make out what was printed. Some pages were of a totally different type of paper than the rest. The print was crooked in multiple places. Font size was not consistent in tables. These issues aside, the information was very interesting. The formulations presented were good tools to better understand the complexity involved in the art of perfumery. It's not often you get to see published perfume and cologne formulations.
