SilverStone Technology RL-TS421S SST-TS421S 4 Bay 2.5" SAS/SATA Hard Drive Enclosure to Mini-SAS SFF-8088 with Cables and Adapters

If you have to SAS drives (Like many of the sellers on Amazon selling untested, JUNK drives should be doing); this little bad boy hooks directly up to my workstation and uses SeaTools or WD Tools and tests drives without having to power down the system and swap drives. It has a power button on the front that powers the drives down and It does seem like it can hots swap SAS, but I have to flip the drives, I power it off anyway. This thing SAVES ME HOURS AND HOURS of time. I bought it for work, and bought one right behind it for me personally. IT is any IT Professionals need if you deal with 2nd hand market drives. I have had 5 seller's refund me drives now because I send them a SeaTools report and let them know I received a JUNK Drive(s). You just can't argue with facts when it fails tests.

Not a lot of options for external drive enclosures that use mini-SAS connection, so when my old one died I gave this one a try. It works fine, but the fan on the back is pretty noisy when it runs a full speed (which it does pretty regularly).
