Let Your Freak Flag Fly
I admit it. I bought this for myself. My 55 year old self. And I love it! I have health issues that sometimes make me clumsier than usual, and I wanted to protect my new Fire tablet. I chose this one because, from a practical standpoint, it would obviously protect my new tablet and it comes with a strap and handles, making it easier to carry when using canes. Practicality aside, it's a fun color and design.FIT: I was a little concerned when it arrived, because I couldn't figure out how to put my tablet in it. After watching a customer review for another product, I realized that I needed to pop out the black plastic piece to insert my tablet. Perfect fit!SPEAKERS: For those worried about the placement my the speaker holes: The fact that the holes are in a slightly different position than the speakers doesn't have any effect, except for maybe giving a slightly richer sound.KICKSTAND: The cute little robot-man kickstand is awesome. Right now, I've got my encased Fire sitting on an uneven pile of blankets on my bed. It's wide enough to keep my Fire completely stable. The angle is perfect for keeping the glare off the screen while watching shows. For some reason, the screen seems bigger in this case.CHARGING: The handles do make it slightly harder to insert the charging cord. However, it's by no means impossible, and the cord feeds under a channel on the bottom of one of the grips.VOLUME and POWER BUTTON ACCESS: I *did* find the volume and power buttons slightly difficult to access, which is probably a good thing if you're buying this for a child.MEMORY CARD ACCESS: There isn't an access hole for the memory card, so when I get one, I'll have to remove my tablet from the case to insert it. This isn't a deal breaker for me, because I don't switch memory cards around.SCREEN PROTECTION: One thing that could make this better would be if it had a built-in screen protector. The edges project out to protect the screen if the tablet is dropped on a flat surface, but the screen isn't protected if something is dropped on it.TO SUM UP: So, if you're an adult thinking of buying it for yourself, go on and buy it! Let your freak flag fly and proudly salute it. If you're buying it for a child, I think they'd love it. It seems durable enough to withstand the kind of abuse any toddler could dole out.[This is actually my second case. When the first arrived, I was disappointed to find that there was no strap. Thankfully, Amazon sent me a replacement, which included the strap.]

Love this cute, durable, lightweight case!
We LOVE this case! We ordered a Fire 8 tablet for ourselves last Christmas, and since then we have downloaded the PBS games app onto it for our 3yo daughter. I ordered a standard case for the tablet at the time, and while it was perfectly suitable for the tablet, I realized I wanted a different kind of case on it for when the toddler is using it. I was always worried about her dropping the tablet accidentally if she were to pick it up and move it around when I wasn’t looking, AND I noticed more than once this year that she enjoys standing the tablet up against something while playing her games, rather than craning her neck over the screen. The case we had on the tablet didn’t allow it to sit propped upright, and whenever she would lean it against something, the tablet would slowly slip and fall flat on the desk/table/etc. Hubby and I also were growing tired of how awkward a 8” tablet is to hold while watching Netflix (etc.) in bed/on the couch. I found this case on Amazon, and then it sat in my cart FOREVER. I don’t know why I didn’t just go ahead and order it sooooo much sooner. It is perfect for us! Another review I had read before purchasing mentioned that the kickstand could potentially seem a bit flimsy IF your child/user is rough when handling the tablet/case. However, like I said, our daughter is very capable, typically gentle, and a good listener. It was already a rule that she only touches/uses the tablet when she has asked myself or Daddy, or when we offer it to her. When we received the new case, I told her that only Mumma and Daddy would open the kickstand (until she’s a bit bigger), just because we don’t want to break it. It seems fine to me, but I can see how it might break if a kiddo wasn’t being nice to it. I love that it has the handles, for both our 3yo AND US. 😂 It is so much more comfortable to hold while watching Netflix now! I also love the optional strap that came with the case, I imagine it will be great for longer car rides where we want Aria to be able to watch movies etc. without her having to hold the tablet, as we will be able to hang the strap around the passenger’s seat head rest. The ONLY thing I wish were different about this case is that it might have some sort of screen cover for when a tablet is sitting unused. But I’m OCD. I hate to think of any dust settling on the screen. 😂 But it is a wonderful case, and it came exactly as advertised, so I couldn’t possibly be upset about this or deduct any stars. For $15 this is an awesome purchase. Highly recommend. 😊

Perfect case for 2year old!
Got this case for my 2 year old grandson. After searching Amazon extensively, this was the only case with multiple handles, so that it could be held from the side/s or the top.I was a little skeptical because some of the reviews said that it didn't fit properly, but that is definitely Not an issue. It is the Perfect case! I think it's important to pay attention to the Generation of Fire tablet before buying, as different generations do have different measurents. I made sure I selected the one for the 8th generation (2018) tablet.I also saw some reviews that said the camera slot on the case was not matching with the camera on the tablet, but this too is in the perfect place. Maybe it's different for the other generations? The case seems very sturdy, but pliable enough for his soft little hands. I'm sure it will withstand many falls..All in all, I am 100% satisfied with this purchase. For anyone looking to buy a case, it is Important that you pay Close Attention to the Model and Generation of your tablet when purchasing.

All around worth it. Few problems but still usable
It is very sturdy. Love the carrying strap. Doesn’t fit flush and is really hard to get the charger to plug in bc it doesn’t line up but it is worth the money we love it

Awesome protective case for a toddler especially!
I ordered this for a 2 yr Olds Fire tablet & it was worth every penny! We all know how rough a tiddler can be with a tablet & this thing works perfectly. It is tough, has held up well, easy to clean & most importantly easy to hold for a little kid. I love that it has a stand to for watching videos. Buy this you will be glad you did.
