Works great in my experience
I was skeptical at first given so many bad reviews. None of the reported defects apply in my opinion to this new Rev A02 product. The only valid concern is the inability to adjust the pressure sensitivity. It does take more pressure to hand write compared to a regular pen or pencil on paper. However, it is possible to tweak double-tap and long-tap timings in Control Panel / Hardware / Touch. I cannot say about battery life since I only had the stylus for two weeks. I did find AAAA batteries at CVS Pharmacy for $3.5 a pair. If they last a month or two like others reported I will be happy. It is a great new technology and I specially appreciate the hover function. Many websites assume you have a mouse, with those pull-down menus that are definitely not touch-friendly. I am an engineer and I have done some software programming and other design work on my Venue 8 Pro at home on weekends. Not as productive as on my desktop at work of course... but comfy on my couch while doing other things. Also a great tool to have when flying coach on today's crammed airliners. Even a small mouse is hard to operate during flight.

Happy customer.
This was a good buy. Package was delivered super fast. To all the complainer. The batteries replacements are cheep so grab a pack. Just like all other wireless mouses if used a lot the batterie will need to be replaces. Heavy use two weeks some use a month. As for the pen drawing wrong it's not the pen it you. Shaking hands will mess with the pen. Just like drawing on paper with a pencil if you push to hard to tip goes flying and yo have a mess on the paper. Hold it like a pen do not push down on the screen hard and just practice using it. Use it as a mouse don't need to touch the screen at all hold it about 1/2" above the screen and move around the curser and click just like a mouse. Take a little getting used to, but I love mine. Hope this helps some of you.

Works well and easy to use.
Works well. Easy to control. Erases precisely. Selects all colors from palete. Only issue is it is too thick for retaining hole of my 5250. Have to Velcro it to the pad.

Average Stylus, but a cheap design
Its was okay, but when I tried to change the battery something got loose and now the pen doesn't work or respond. But when is worked it was pretty good.

It would be nice if it were possible to buy parts for these ...
Works well with my Dell Venue 8 tablet. The nib fell out of the original one I bought from Dell. It would be nice if it were possible to buy parts for these pens but I couldn't find them. This is a very good replacement for that pen though.

When works its ok
The battery life is bad it only last for about a month. Sometimes it will randomly draw lines across the tablet when drawing with it. Other times it will just stop working all together for 30 minutes or so. When it works it works well but theres just to many problems to pay more than ten dollars for it.
