Worked great after downloading drivers
Seems to work really well so far. I'm using it on my Macbook Pro and seems to be handling all my devices without issue or any slowdowns. I didn't think it worked at first, but after doing some digging I was able to find the drivers for it at DisplayLinsk's web site (http://www.displaylink.com/downloads/mac_downloads.php). Once I got the driver installed, everything came right up. I currently have my Ethernet cable, backup hard drive, and monitor plugged into it. For my next trick I'm going to plug a USB hub into it to see if I can add more devices to it. We are considering purchasing these instead of the Belkin Thunderbolt Docks - $70 versus $200.

Awesome
Once you ims tall the drivers, this adapter works flawlessly. Small and compact, yet does everything you need it to and more.I use it with my Dell Tablet. The USB port powers my presentation clicker. I was concerned about this, but it all works perfectly.

it just works with my Dell Latitude 7350. display is quick with both VGA and HDMI although I have not tried to use both simultaneously. tried briefly with an HP laptop and it did not work there. I didn't spend much time with drivers as I have a different solution for the HP.

This adapter works great with Windows 10 Pro on a Dell Inspiron 15 ...
I am reviewing the USB-3 version of this. This adapter works great with Windows 10 Pro on a Dell Inspiron 15 5559 - all the ports work. Make sure you install the necessary driver before using it. The website to install the driver is displayed clearly when you open the box that contains the adapter, letting you know to install the driver before first use. I can't comment on the USB-C version, but the USB-3 version works well! The only reason why I docked a star is the awkwardly short USB dongle that is used to connect to your laptop/system. I wish this was a little longer and more flexible. At the current length, it can become a nuisance if you are using your laptop on a crowded desk space. Also a bit expensive...but I am also an Apple owner so the (rather expensive) accessory-tax is nothing foreign.

Buy the insurance!
I had this adapter for a few months and the usb port on the adapter stopped working. The vga connection was still connecting so I continued to use the product but now, this thing completely stopped working. It doesn't register when i plug it in at all. I just bought another one but this time I bought the insurance with it.

Great device!
Really expanses connectivity. I love it! NOTE: it does seem to impact the port you chose to use it on. After the software is installed sometimes the port does not respond to other cables.

Good device; watch out for software updates.
Device is fine, however, had some software issues with my laptop to use the HDMI connection. After a couple of rounds with Dell tech support, it is working ok.

Ethernet Port Does Not Work on Windows 10 machine with Anniversary Update
I bought this specifically for the Ethernet adapter since my Dell Inspiron 5528 did not come with one onboard. The HDMI and VGA ports worked fine, but the the Ethernet port did not. Checking in Device Manager, it showed that it didn't have a driver file for the Dell Gigabit Ethernet. I downloaded the DisplayLink driver file again from the Dell Driver Download site per the instructions and reinstalled, but to no avail. I uninstalled the device and started the whole process over and still "no driver file for this device found".What a complete waste of about 3 hours.
