My door frame is 3/16 narrower than Ring gen1. I didn’t want to mess with vinyl siding trim that was nicely caulked by door installers. I retuned the first angle mount and searched for the right one. Since door frame is uneven I also needed a base plate. This product has a base plate which is exactly 3/16 in narrower when I trimmed off the B eyelets I didn’t need. See picture and you’ll know which ones. It was a cinch to install and mount the Ring Video door bell. Also like the fact they made it water and bug resistant.

I works great for my new Doorbell 2. For those with brick houses, the screws it came with won't work. I had to improvise to install on my brick wall. FYI, I'm a handy man.

This product is just exactly as advertised. It worked exactly as I expected.
