Everything came correctly....my aluminum truck toolbox works like new again! Pressures seem to be correct.....the lid has same open force as when new

These little gas lift cylinders only last so long but are an easy fix. Pop the old one off and the new one on. So much better than using a stick to hold it up. Hope this helps.

I wish the clips on the end couldn’t come off completely and would rotate out of the way. Once they pop off, not easy to get back on. (Especially with old hands)

Don't have to hold rear door open with head anymore.

I purchased these to replace failing supports on a Leer camper cover. It had 24Lbs each supports and they had been weak since I purchased the vehicle used a few years ago. One of the struts failed and the window would not stay up. I put one of the new ones on and it held the door open on its own. I added the second one and was very pleased at how well they worked. Easy to install on the original ball mounts.

Easy to replace existing dead canopy door supports. Positive opening & closing. Beat the cost of one's available locally, freed up my small ViseGrips for other chores & saved banging my head. Specs were right on for my canopy's replacements.Additional: Aug2018; This is the second set. I had to replace them after almost 2 years. These have been exposed to very harsh temperature extremes. Hope these do last a bit longer, but they are reasonably priced. Like the fact they are USA made.

I made a DIY hood prop set up for my '01 Jeep XJ hood using two of these. Holds hood up good @ 35 lbs each. Hood is supposed to be 38 lbs. Saved $120.00 making this myself.
