Would not work for 97 TJ 2.5l
Item was loose in box with no padding. Bent a flange bolt. Only mounts with half the bolts as present on my 97 Wrangler 2.5l. Also manifold is thicker than OEM and would cause issue on several bolts that overlap the exhaust and intake manifolds. Amazon did great on the return but it cost me time and money for having to repackage due to the horrible original shipping.

Good fit, 98 Jeep TJ 2.5. Heat shield was a small issue.
A lot of mixed reviews on these manifolds on Amazon. I bought this for my 98 Jeep TJ 2.5 liter. I did purchase a separate quality gasket just incase, the gasket that came with it was exactly like the one I bought. It bolted up with no real issues. No leaks. It’s been on for over a month with no problems at all. It looked just like the one I took off, other then there was no crack down the middle and the new one had a heat shield. The only issue was the the center bolt hole was slightly covered but the heat shield. A small hammer and a bar moved it enough to bolt on.

Some modification, but fits great, its a casting....and China made, castings in USA come out of the sand are QC inspected and go thru a grinding station and have to meet specifications, not so in China, so as long as you got the skill and tools its a good buy at 1/2 the cost.

Good value with a little fitment.
Fits many models, so be prepared to plug a couple holes etc, but past that it's a good value and hasn't had any problems after months of hard highway on-the-floor use. And zero leaks.

Installed it in my sons 97 jeep wrangler in about 3 hour, everything nicely!
All product was delivered in good condition.Been driving with it installed for about a month and no issues.

Poor quality part, had to return it
Arrived cracked and I had to return it. The cast iron seemed very brittle. I ended up using a Crown exhaust manifold and it is holding up pretty well. Go with one of those or a Dorman.

Fits great.
I got it for my 2002 Jeep Wrangler and fits as glow! I got also set of Dorman’s extra screw set.Only bad thing was little smell after mounting and check engine show up after change probably due burning out of manifold.So now need to fix this.

Don’t waste your money or time.
This thing is garbage. The awful casting of it does not allow for it to be installed to the block with the intake manifold. There is no margin for error in this kind of setup. Worst aftermarket jeep part I’ve ever purchased in all my years. Returning it.
