Clearspring Organic Japanese Umeboshi Paste 150g-6 Pack

I buy umeboshi while abroad for a sushi dip but my usual Japanese brand isn't carried here in the UK. I decided to stock up anyway . Usually I avoid Clearspring products because I think they are on the expensive side for what you get but took the plunge and bought five of these - what a mistake. The stuff is so salty you cant get any of the special rounded plum fermentation taste I associate with umeboshi. I know salt is used in the process but this product is like taking a mouthful of seawater
