Awesome stencil, definitely takes some trial & error
Turned out to be everything I was looking for! Solid size and easy to use with 2 people holding to align spots for the overlaps. Would recommend 2 depending upon the timing and size of your space. Certainly learned a few other lessons along the way.1. We used blue painter's tape to attach it to the wall. Definitely make sure it's pressed firmly and tightly to the wall, and minimize paint use with the foam roller, to prevent bleeding! Do watch the videos the company provides on getting started.2. We cleaned the stencil on front and back between each section, because after not doing so between section 1 and section 2, section 2 was just so blotchy/had so much bleeding. While time consuming, this definitely gave us the desired effect, and even left a cool texture.3. We used a high quality paint, which meant we could be good with 2 light coats per section (with blotting the roller & brushes before applying). Behr Marquee semi gloss for the base & spots.4. After some trial & error for timing, we let the first coat dry for 7 minutes and the second coat dried for 3-4 minutes before removing the stencil for cleaning. We wish we would've bought 2 stencils to speed things up here (and definitely saw the process quicken when we cut it in half to finish the small sections).5. When it came to the point that we couldn't fit the whole stencil, we did have to cut it twice - once to complete the column that appeared down 1 side of the wall and again to complete the row closest to the floor. We did measure around the spots to try to main a similar border width that the stencil came with. For the final section, we also cut out the electrical outlet shape rather than taping/painting over it to keep the stencil flush with the wall.6. After all was said & done, we needed a handful of touch-ups to separate spots that bled together or add darkness to those that were too light.I couldn't be more pleased with the end result and how this is helping our nursery pull together!!

Tiger king!! Stencil ❤️
Worked awesome and looks like wallpaper. I did pencil the spots and then went back through and painted the spots. Took me a while but didn’t have much to do since COVID 19
