Craft Mens Ride Rain Commuter Bike Cycling Windproof and Waterproof Reflective Pants

i'm 5'7 tall,my waist size in pants 32-34, my inseam is 30' i'm 75 kg,with strong upper legs and strong butt,bought this pants in size mediumit was perfect in size/length and waist also, it covered my shoe and ankle still nice during ride,bike inseam is around 32', this pants made of a very nice soft but thin material,i bought the black one looking very niceit feels good on skin , only reason i returned it because this pants material was not thick enough to ride the bike (the saddle part when you ride the bike will be worn fast it will break fast (after a half year or less--i ride the bike everyday to work -- here in rainy Vancouver BC-- from September to April if i ride this pants when it's raining the bottom parts will be destroyed after a short period of time, this pants is very nicely made and very good quality pants, perfect for walking in it or use it for bike ride if you won't ride in it too much --- if the saddle part won't rub against too much against your bicycle seat/saddle then it's fine, i bought instead of this a Berghaus Men's Deluge Waterproof Overpants, Black, Medium/Long which perfect size for me with a stronger material

Not enough pockets

These pants' waterproofing does not hold up to a 4-mile bike ride in medium-strength Atlanta rain. My jeans were wet underneath.

These are excellent wind/waterproof pants for cycling, walking, golf or being on the sidelines. They are especially designed for cycling so the pantlegs will sort of grip your legs while riding and prevent the rain from penetrating. I got the same size in these pants that I have in Adidas and Nike soccer warm-up pants (XL). These pants have an expandable waist with a drawstring that helps with fitting various sizes. The waist fits me very well but I could gain or lose a couple inches either way and they would still fit well because of those elements. The length is a bit long for me but because of the velcro strap at the ankle, I can wrap them to my ankle to make the length and width fine at the bottom. This also keeps the pants out of the chain. While riding they do keep the rain out; I also sprayed a hose straight onto my thigh for several seconds and after that, the inside of the pants only slightly seemed to feel damp. They dry very quickly on the outside. If you get hot wearing them, your legs will sweat onto them and they become sort of sticky to your legs. They do seem ventilated when riding so my legs don't suffocate like they would with plain rain pants. They do not have any padding but would fit easily over your cycling pants.They are quite comfortable for all of the above activities. They have a zippered pocket on the left leg. This is the only pocket or zipper. While they may seem expensive, I think they should be the only athletic rain pants I ever will need.I attached a couple pictures so you can see what they look like on a regular odd-shaped person like me.

Very good, very waterproof, the seams look and feel like they could withstand a blast from a pressure washer!These are very comfortable, and ever so warm!Light weight, and nice - very good rain pants indeed

These are a really good value compared to what you would pay at REI for Northface, Columbia Sportswear etc. for comparable rain / riding pants. They fit well and are very comfortable. I will be using these for my winter commute.

I may need to get a couple more of these, I was surprised at how soft these were for rain pants, they are also great for just cutting the wind as we head into Winter and riding becomes a bit more of a discomfort instead of a pleasure. The cost is low compared to what I have paid for the other rain gear I bought at the athletic store, the size was perfect and I love the pockets which allows me to carry things I need without a constant worry about them falling out. 5 Stars easy for me.

My husband is an all season rider and he’s been recommding these riding pants to all his buddies. They keep his legs dry in the rain and the cold out. He keeps them packed in my saddle bags and ready to go. They don’t take up a ton of room either. They’ve held up nicely!

Kurzes Fazit für alle die wenig Zeit haben:Ich habe sicher 5-8 verschiedene Hosen getestet, primär zum Radfahren bei schlechtem Wetter. Dies war mit Abstand die Beste! Warum keine 5 Sterne? Weil es für mich kein perfektes Produkt ist. Details folgen.Details:Ich habe mir diese Hose gekauft um bei jedem Wetter in die Arbeit und wieder zurück fahren zu können. Es war nicht besonders leicht die richtige Hose zu finden, obwohl ich Modelle von Helly Hansen, Vaude, Craft und weiteren Marken + "NoName Firmen" getestet habe. Viele waren von der Passform nicht optimal, hatten einen schlechten Schnitt oder sahen aus wie ein schwarzer Müllbeutel. Extrem irritierend war, dass bei vielen dieser Hosen (auch wenn sie speziell fürs Fahrradfahren waren) der Bund viel zu kurz war. Das heißt: Die Jacke rutscht hoch und man wird nass.Der Schnitt ist bei dieser Hose auch nicht ganz optimal, da die Hosenbeine unten relativ breit sind, auch wenn die Klettverschlüsse zu sind. Der Bund ist ausreichend hoch, könnte noch höher sein und die Beine sind bei L mit meiner Größe von 187 gerade so ausreichend. Lange darf ich nicht mit einem Bein auf dem Boden stehen, sonst regnets mir in den Schuh.Aber das Material ist absolut toll. Die Hose ist unglaublich leicht und die Oberfläche sieht schön aus. Auch bei starkem Regen (bei mir sind es allerdings nur ca. 20Min Fahrtweg) war ich immer ganz trocken drunter und die Hose scheint auch ausreichend atmungsaktiv zu sein. Was mich etwas stört ist, dass die wasserdichte Membran ungeschützt auf der Innenseite liegt. Diese ist alles andere als rutschig, weswegen man nicht ganz so leicht reinschlüpfen kann. Man macht sich auch sorgen, dass man sich verhängt und die Membran beschädigt. Ist aber bisher noch nicht passiert. Wenn man mit den Schuhen reinschlüpfen würde, kann das vermutlich aber schon passieren.In Summe ist die Hose alles was ich gesucht habe. Sie befindet sich jetzt immer in meinem Rucksack und fällt dort gar nicht auf. Bei Regen oder extremer Kälte ziehe ich sie über meine normale Jeans und alles ist gut.Prädikat: Empfehlenswert!+ Extrem leicht und klein zu verpacken+ Sieht gut aus (nicht nach reinem Plastik)+ Wasserdicht auch bei starkem Regen+ Man schwitzt weniger als erwartet- Membran liegt innen frei: Haftet etwas beim anziehen und ist vor Beschädigungen nicht geschützt- Etwas breit bei den Unterschenkeln- Könnte länger sein (bin 187cm und habe L). XL wäre zu weit gewesen.P.S.: Ich weiß, dass viele Kunden nur nach Produkten suchen die fast oder nur 5 Sterne haben und ich das Produkt somit schlechter bewerte. Das tut mir leid, aber ich würde 5 Sterne dann geben wenn ein Produkt optimal oder gar perfekt ist. 4 ist meiner Meinung nach schon sehr gut und bei so einer Bewertung kann man fast blind zuschlagen. Wäre schön wenn das generell mehr so gesehen würde.
